have your head gasket checked you will need to do a blowby test or check your oil and if it looks milky your head gasket may be lown

HOW . unbolt it? and unplug it.
no engine stated, so impossible to help , in details.
CKP sensors, on all cars can be found (1996 to no USA)
in 3 places, front of crank, rear of crank at bell housing or behind flywheel, (very hard go remove) or on the center of the crank.
so asking , with out engine spec,,,, or VIN, makes this impossible.

IF you mean that it is not down shifting when slowing or stopping then it is time to have it serviced. This could be a solenoid that is hanging up.

you need to obtain the serial number from the cd player itself , which is generally on the top or side of the body of the unit .
you will need to either pull t he unit out with a special key sets or go to a ford dealer and provide all of the prove of ownership,vin number and serial number and get them to retrieve the code through the system .
beware it will cost you?

the ecu will have some input to the a/c unit , have you checked that the drive belt is in good condition and not slipping etc on the a/c pump
