you could have a busted motor mount or tranny mount somewhere,also the ford Taurus is notorious for tranny problems

Do you mean ignition switch or key lock cylinder ?

the instrument cluster has a fuse that provides power to it. look for the fuse in the fuse box on the bottom left driver side, just underneath the panel. or below the light switch behind the panel.

P0 Wells Ford EGR DPFE Training with Sgt Tech P0400 P0401 P0402 you need to test it first.

REMOVE BELT AND SEE IF IT WILL START AND RUN ,IF SO CHECK PULLEYS TO SEE IF AC OR WP MAY BE LOCKED UP

possible a bad regulator. Some alternators have the regulator as part of the alternator and others have it separate. If you did not have the alternator bench tested but simply used a multimeter to check voltage then it is possible that the alternator is not good as you can have 14.5 volts out put but it could be ac current as a rectifier is bad.

Power steering pump, air in p/s fluid or low fluid level, faulty rack and pinion unit or failing CV joint bearings are some things to look into. You didn't mention conditions when noise occurs. Good luck.

No --it will be something else. Run the fault codes to determine why the light is on. Check the oil level. have the noise diagnosed by an accredited service centre.

Not a repair for the do it yourself guy. Transmission is controlled by a computer and solenoids the it controls to shift. Without a scanner and knowledge you will need a mechanic.

cheapest thing to do is chnage your t-stat

what i think is you problem is the device attached the one door latch and need to be replaced for a new one,you can get them from the dealership and the are not expensive,this device is the one turn your lights on(interior) when you open de doors

Fuel sending unit is bad..its attached to the fuel pump canaster in your fuel tank....

a vacume leak from one of your hoses
