yes i know that is a problem with the automated web site ,do wish admin would make a non specified column for us in europe with proper cars ----anyway seat ibiza great car perfect town shopping car ,1400 cc with the rounded ally rocker cover with system porsche on it ,now these cars can give a problem with the ally head and the water ports corrode away if it has anything less than neat antifreeze in ,well thats what i have found-now what i think is happening here is the head gasket has corroded away and its not a big job to change and shouldnt take a good mechanic more than an hour and a half to dismantle and a little over an hour to refit ,the problem is the bit in the middle ,are the water ports corroded to an excessive size that a new gasket will not hold ,cant help here but as cars are so cheap in the UK you might as well just buy another car for 500 pounds and the paperwork so easy to change the owners name unlike spain where it will cost 150euros minimun just to do the paperwork thats without buying the car ,which would cost about 1500 euros

could it be the place where you're getting your fuel from? you'd be surprised how diluter gasoline can be in some places. how's your distributor cap?

Astra 1.6 petrol causing jumping problems, when
Ok is the engine maagement light on.If so your air mass meter will cause the problem.Some times the managemen light does not come on when this is faulty.This air flow meter is lockated on the inlet manifold pipe by the air filter box secured with two clips.Unplug and slacken clips and replace.Quite a simple job.You dont have to reprogram this meter,the e c u will detect it its quit an easy do it urself job.But make sure you get the genuin part.There are so many out there cheapys.Dont go there they want work and you will find your self out of pocket.The cheap air flow meters are not calabrated for your car.Hope that has helped you, let me now how you get on.

yes could be a fuse but i doubt it more like a faulty reciever unit so check the fuse whichever one it is then locate reciever unit where ever that lurks then look for a feed to it and then find the output wire that goes to teh door lock relay and see if that has power coming out of it providing you have power to it in the first place,process of elimination iam afraid but its not that difficult with a automotive multimeter

Sounds like without me testing battery, that battery has a bad cell in it and needs to be replaced. You can take battery to a auto parts store and they will test it for you. But from what you are stating battery needs to be replaced.
