If the engine has been blue printed with different pistons and cam the best way to set the engine time is to loosen the dist so you can turn it and then start the truck and move the dist to the rear until the engine misses or slows and then move the dist forward until the engine smooth's out and runs smooth. Once this is done quickly step on the gas and the engine should respond right now with no hesitation. You can also use this method for a regular engine timing setting.

Not sure on a 2001 but they are either under the dash on the driver side or under the hood in the black box marked fuses and each one is identified as to where it goes.

Same post again? Look at two AC pipes entering heater box. One is low side (large) and one is high side (smaller). Disconnect the high side pipe union and inside the pie going into heater box is the orifice tube.

Hard to show in text, but find high side pipe connection at heater box. Tube is inside pipe going into the heater box.

A worn or damaged front end part. Tie rod end.drag link,ball joint,worn bushings the list goes on and on.The front end needs to be checked out to see what needs to be replaced.

Did the mirror have a temperature read out before?All you should have to do is hook up the mirror to the connector and everything should work.There aren`t any separate hook ups.

Do not drive the truck until the issue is resolved. 1. Make sure the oil is at the proper level in the engine with the correct spec oil for the pickup. Oh it is normal for the oil pressure to be a little low at idle and go up to the normal range as the engine rpm goes up to normal operating range. 2. It could be either a real problem or a problem with the oil pressure indicator. To verify which connect a mechanical test pressure gauge of the proper range say a 0-100 psig scale to the point where the oil pressure sensor is connected. After it is connected test run the engine for a short period. If the pressure shows normal replace the oil pressure sensor. If the gauge confirms the low oil pressure then you have a serious issue in the engine. It could be: 1. Bad oil pump or oil pressure relief valve 2. excessive clearance in the bearings due to high miles.

There are many things that can cause you problem. The flashing light indicates "open loop" or "limp mode". This is the computer's last effort to keep the vehicle running and maintenance must be performed ASAP. I can assure you that if you are in limp mode there WILL be some code(s) set in the computer. Have them read and repair accordingly.

Possible weak spark from ignition coil or low fuel pressure due to weak pump. Try spraying carb clean into intake throttle body when problem is present. If vehicle will start and run with a little spray then fuel pump is failing.

take the six bed bolt loose and then take three buddies slide the bed back put in the new pump slide it back n place and put the bed bolts back in. if u drop the tank u can easily break the hard plastis lines that go to the fuel tank. u only have to take the fill lines and taillight wires loose this way its alot quicker, and easier.
