do you mean a Lock-up torque converter ? if so yes ford made electrically lockable torque converters since 94 ( all torque converters are hydraulic activated ,lock-up is proformed using a electric solenoid ) , but only certain transmissions made by ford had them , decode your vin number on left corner of dash to determine if you have E4od transmission or 4a400 model these have solenoid
I ask this because to my knowledge only race cars use a LOck out converter (aka "transbrake") for very high hp startss

It determines the fuel pressure in the line from your fuel pump to the engine. If the pressure is high enough, the pump can cycle off temporarily or at least slow down until the pressure gets low enough again to need to turn it back on. If that sensor is not working, your fuel pump may stay turned on when it is not needed or may stay turned off when it is needed causing either too much pressure or not enough pressure to keep the engine supplied with the proper amount of fuel. You need just the right amount of fuel pressure or your engine will run rough due to the air to fuel mixture being wrong. There is also a mass air flow sensor so that the computer can calculate how much air and how much fuel are entering the engine at any given time. This is all computer controlled, but it does rely on the sensors to tell it what's going on. I hope this helps.

Causes A code P0303 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: Faulty spark plug or wire, Faulty coil (pack), Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector, Burned exhaust valve, Faulty catalytic converter(s), Running out of fuel, Poor compression, Defective computer... Possible Solutions If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Sounds like the windshield wiper motor is getting too hot. The wait an hour is waiting for that to cool down.
The wiper motor is located usually under the hood, on the firewall on the passenger side.
You should be able to feel the wiper motor getting too hot when the wipers are turned on.
Hope this helps.

Check your owners manual for the number 27 fuse to see what it is. Checking online I see it as a 15 Amp, Under hoop lamp, Map lights, Glove box lamp, Dome lamp, Visor lamps, Accessory delay, Dimmer switch illum. and 4x4 system. check each one to see if the bulb is blown but left on, at least if it's a light. It that doesn't do it, research how to check accessory delay and 4x4 system.

On the brake light switch check the harness sometimes it gets to hot and terminals won't make contact they open up. Try wiggling the brake switch harness while pressing brake with other hand truck running or key on engine off and listen for solenoid clicking everytime you press the brakes.

I went off your primary post of brake lights staying on replace switch now won't go in to gear (stuck in parking)
