Could be a fuel pressure regulator valve. A defective regulator will often produce enough fuel for start up when the car is cold but not after the vehicle has run for a while. Then regulator should be located on the the fuel rail under the hood. If this is the problem you can prabably remove the fuse to the fuel then crank the vehicle for a few second so that there is no pressure build up. Then replace you regulator and replace the fuse.

Sounds like something really worn or tie rods out of adjustment. If you jack the car up and place jack stands on both sides of the vehicle you can then be able to check the tie rods and all most of the ball joints, etc. If you are able to freely move, for instance, a tie roe either outer or enter, then I would replace them. Of course you would then need to have a wheel alignment. I am assuming that your tires are in good shapt.

If after driving a little bit the 4wd light starts blinking then I believe one (or both) of your HALL sensors are bad or have picked up some metal filings.

I believe the light is blinking because your GEM computer doesn't think both driveshafts are going the same speed.

I think one of your HALL sensors is fooling the GEM into thinking one of the driveshafts is stopped all the time

When you are stopped the computer thinks everything is OK (because the other driveshaft is stopped also)

When you are moving the GEM tries to get both driveshaft spinning the same speed but the sensor isn't responding

It takes 5 minutes to change the rear sensor (you have to cut the old one off and splice in the new one. Sealing the splice with liquid electrical tape)

The front sensor is hardr becasue you have to remove the shift motor on the transfer case

also for the 4wd system there is a TOD(torque on demand relay) that might be bad

Sounds like you need to check the level of the fluid in the system.

This is not a problem you can fix. It would be your best bet to take it to a transmission shop and let them diagnose the problem. The bands could be worn out or they may be able to adjust it for you. I have never tried to adjust them myself but I do know it is not a problem the average person can fix.

I wish I had better news for you. I wish you luck.

my guess is someone has installed an aftermarket radio?
your yellow and red wires are backwards on the back of the stereo. you've got constant 12v power going to the ignition/memory wire on the stereo.
