My 1997 Ford Expedition 4.6 will start with a jump but won't crank, any help?
It is likely that the battery needs to be replaced. Check the connections to make sure they are clean and secure. If the connections are good, then the battery may need to be replaced. Additionally, check the alternator and starter to make sure they are functioning properly. If they are not, they may need to be replaced or repaired.

1997 FORD EXPEDITION LEAKING ANTIFREEZE
You have to remove the parts to see where the leak is. Remove the manifold carefully to preserve the evidence. You can check the manifold mating surface with a straightedge. You may find the leak is actually in the head gasket. Make him show you the warpage before letting him sell you new parts. A metal part like the head can be resurfaced at a machine shop.

The surging usually comes from the IAC hunting to maintain a stable idle. usually your symtoms occur from a vacuum leak of some sort. plastic intakes are sometime found to be cracked from heat embrittlement. spray the top of the engine with brake clean when running. if the idle changes when spraying in a certain area you are locating the vacuum leak. the idle will change when the engine sucks in the brake cleaner.

Looks like it sits on top of the heater housing left of the blower. You may be able to see it by removing the glove box. These things tend to strip their plastic gears. If you heard a lot of clicking before it failed, that is what happened.
