Fuse N 20 amp , under hood fuse box . There is also a fuel pump relay ,which the PCM - engine computer turns on to supply power to the fuel pump . Plus in the circuit is a inertia fuel shut off swith , this is incase of a wreck .I would check to see if the inertia switch was tripped . Location
Inertia Fuel Shut-Off (IFS) SwitchC322
On lower LH "A" pillar, under I/P
I would also watch this video on fuel pump electrical circuits !
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuits Description and Operation
The crankshaft position (CKP) sensor on the 1998 Windstar with 3.8L is located near the crankshaft pulley on the front cover. There is a shield mounted over the CKP sensor that you'll need to remove to access the sensor.
Would you care to share why you suspect the CKP sensor is bad? Typically with Fords a bad CKP will cause a no-start condition due to no spark, but you'll still hove good fuel pressure.
rear end alignment is by means of eccentric mounting bolts in the suspension bushes
Ford uses a system of an off set washer under the head of the bolt that rubs against a stop so loosen of the nut and turn the head
that makes the washer turn and moves the setting of the alignment
It should only be done on a wheel alignment machine as very little movement makes a vast difference in the setting
true qualified wheel aligners will always check the rear alignment before doing the front as the back sets up the front for long tire life
Go on youtube an watch a few videos on finding a short ! How to do basic automotive electrical testing , how to read a wiring diagram . Then go to http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! Do you have an know how to use a DVOM- digital volt ohm meter ! If you never fixed this type problem your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop !
