Lower Intake to the block: use sequence pattern below, tighten to 15 Nm, then go back in the same sequence and tighten to 32 NmUpper to The Lower: Tighten to 10 Nm in the pattern, then go back and tight to 12 Nm in the same sequence pattern

If you've misplaced your remote for the car, use the PATS programmed key to unlock the driver's side door. Then, put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. The vehicle's battery should be on, but the engine shouldn't be running.

2 Locate the override button on the alarm box, beneath the driver's side of the dashboard. Press the button and hold it in until the alarm beeps one time. The LED light for the alarm should stop blinking, indicating the anti-theft system is disabled.

3 To reset the vehicle's alarm, put the PATS programmed key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. Press the override button. When the alarm resets, it chirps two times and the LED light begins blinking.

How many miles are on the transmission? If it's over 100k, it could be the 1st-to-2nd shift solenoid in the transmission. My 01 Ranger started to do the same thing, and that's what the issue was.

The system to change from vent to defrost etc. it's all vacuum controlled. First thing I would do is look inside your engine compartment and look at all the black hoses close to the firewall. Check to see that they have no cracks, have come apart, this is also a good time to check your oil, and do a visual for anything that doesn't look tight or right. In Ford your temp is cable controlled but vents are all vacuum. Words case scenario you may have to take off that control panel to investigate further. One last thing if you can look under the dash tho make sure morning had been kicked loose. A good trick to use for an inspection like that is a mirror and flashlight. Let me know. Jim

First you need a lot of tools second you have to disconnect the transmission drive axles and remove the transmission from the vehicle jack stands engine crane slide hammer with puller arm attachment why do you think the pump went?

Bosh platinum, because they are pregapped and most people don't know anything spark plug gap

Airtech pumps usually will just quit, I suspect fuel line going back to tank kinked.

Have your battery and charging system checked.The battery should turn over longer than this.Make sure the connections are clean and tight.You should also have your starting system checked.Auto Zone will check these for free.Hope this helps.Good luck.
