Could be a bad battery but I suspect your battery cable is either loose or corroded or dirty. Before you pull the battery disconnect your battery cables and clean them both ends and when you put them back on make sure you have good connections and tighten good.If that does not work pull your battery and get it tested at a battery out let . they should do that for free.

There is no idle adjustment available. The throttle is controlled electronically. Idle speed is controlled by a air flow valve that acts as a by pass to the throttle plate.

Donald, sense you have a burning smell and a starting and running issue, I would start by checking all the wiring and connectors to see if they are burnt OR may have fell onto the exhaust somewhere and melted the wiring. Hi John, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair. John, Low oil pressure can be many things. BUT, first you need to hook up an oil pressure gauge just to make sure its not the oil pressure sensor. If you have already put a new sensor on and it still has low oil pressure then you still need to check pressure with a gauge to make sure its not in the wiring or connector. If you find good oil pressure with the gauge then it need to be check to see why the pressure is low. It could be oil pump OR bearing issue. Hello, There are a few different problem areas in your vehicle that come to mind as I was reading your complaint. I will go over the wire diagram for this neon and see exactly what we could be dealing with. Most importantly, I see your check engine light is coming on. If you can scan it while its on and get the codes I will be able to tell you pretty much exactly what is causing this jerking issue. Hopefully its a simple fix, could be under the hood, mechanical or electrical. Ive seen these pcm's fail in the past also. Advanced auto or autozone typically scans codes for free. Please Advise

First check the Timing belt next cam sensor CPS then the throttle position sensor TPS they work together so to tell if all of the internal parts are in line. That way they will not bang togather.
