Number 1 tip, when changing batteries maintain power to the ECM using a battery charger, jump leads or a couple of lengths or wire to the battery wire connectors. Flip the pdc over and look for corrison.

Have OBD scanned for fault codes, maybe the crank sensor but codes will confirm the issue

I really don't know the answer to your question but you can turn it on and test all fuses to find which is blown. Or, what I did was to place the '2006 dodge grand caravan fuse diagram' in your search box and press the search and look down the list to find which is yours. That's how I got the full diagram for my '99 ranger just to find which fuse powered the speakers so I could put a switch on it. It always drained the battery and this switch on that fuse worked. No more battery drain.

disable door lock...Close all of the doors of the Caravan and insert the key into the ignition.

Move the key to the "ON" position, and then back to the "OFF" position. Repeat this step four times.

Press the driver's side door lock to the "LOCK" position within 10 seconds of turning the ignition to the "OFF" position. If done properly, a single chime will emit from the Caravan to indicate that you have disabled the auto-lock feature.

The power window control panel just snaps in place. Usually, a small thin blade screw driver can be inserted at the edge of the panel, and the panel can be lifted up. The switch is a sealed unit and it is very difficult to "jump". If your dash lights dim, when the button is pressed, this may indicate a significant power draw. It most likely would be that the motor is bad.

no easy way to fix .just got to take out the side pannel . be carefull the plastic is very brittle

The problem you describe sounds more like the track for the window. Lubing it will not accomplish much. Many just replace the tracks. The motor gets hot may be because it is getting high resistance from the tracks. Semper Fi, Z

Test the door by manually opening and closing it and seeing how it feels. If it's hanging up at some point it could be something in the track or just may need the rollers Lube

The TIPM totally integrated power module may have corrosion causing cross feeding into other circuits .

You probably have a bad right side C V shaft. The shaft has a spline joint in the middle; over time water gets inside and rusts the splines causing it to slip(makes grinding noise), and it will not turn the wheel, causing the wheel speed sensor to cause the traction light to illuminate. Replace the C V shaft (reman ones are really cheap)

could be cold oil in the power steering making the pump whine or in the transmission may be a transmission oil change or pump oil change could point to the problem

so you have injector problem and crank sensor problem, crank sensor this will make it hard to start, and black smoke and smell of fuel would be the injector staying open. have you checked the earth condition on the sensor plugs, there is a earth wire on each sensor, you will need to check them with a meter, if the garage has checked the sensors and said they are fine that is were i would be looking. dont under stand changing the pcm without doing this test first, if earth is fine then i would start checking the other sensor wire, you will need the ecu layout of the plug. and find the wire code for the sensors and check the sensor end to the ecu end and make sure they have a good feed. if you find a problem you will need to re wire and cut the old connections and fit the new wire/s to the wiring, or if you have a lot of luck you may find the brake in the wire, most common is any where its hot and also when the wiring connections are they look like blocks, these blocks can sometimes let water in and corrode the connections, clean them and replace the seal on the plug. hope this helps.

YOU don't. Call a locksmith to cut new keys and program them to the sensor in the column at the switch.

Make sure all tires are chalked,put vehicle in neutral,turn drum till it has a clear spot to knock stud out,use hammer and wooden block,don't use metal punch,can cause burr on end of stud and not want to come out of hole.Both tires on back may need lifted in air to turn.
