well i would start buy geting the rain water of the top of motor so i would start at hood seal if bad but new hood seal in you may have to go to dealer for it then if the spash gard is missing under car i would replace it with new one then see if car hard to start next time it rain should have no water at top of motor can couse all typ of isuse hope this helps

Has a fluid pressure leak ,could be a broken o ring.

That is a tricky one, could be just sticking and some WD40 or white lithium grease could help to get it freed up to work. I am assuming you are referring to the lever that is on the right latch itself and not pulling on the cable. If I recall, there is a spring that turns the latch to the open position, perhaps having an assistant help by trying to open the door as you flip the latch lever could help to get it to release. I apologize I can't assist more, but hopefully you can get it.

The first thing you need to do is have the engine control computer (known as the PCM) scanned for fault codes, that is the first step to diagnosing what has gone wrong.

Check your vacuum line for the cruise module under the hood.
