I have a GMC 2500HD Duramax Diesel with 74,000 miles on it. Truck was idleing for 10 minutes warming up. Shut off and restarted 45 min. later. Drove down the street and it died and would not restart. While trying to start, the Battery not Charging warning came on. Towed it home and changed fuel filter. Primed and would start but stall if not continually priming. Dealer replaced injectors 20,000 miles ago. I also changed batteries today. Still won't run unless priming. Also put some diesel 911 in it when problem occured last Tuesday. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Greg
I see that you had the injectors replaced 20,000 miles ago. I would still check the oil to make sure it is not overfull. The new injectors could be bad. If the oil level is not overfull then get a paper towel and touch the dip stick tip on the paper towel while oil is on the dip stick. If it's only oil it will not spread. If it has diesel in the oil the oil with spread. If this test doesn't show the injectors to be bad then you have three other possibilities. The FICM (fuel injection control module), the fuel pressure regulator, or the injection pump. It's hard to pinpoint what the problem is without running more tests and the only way to run those tests is with the computer the dealership has. Just so you know your injectors are still under warranty until 100,000 miles. Most likely you will have to take it to the dealership to get you truck fixed. I hope this helps you some.

location of transfer case control module
Under the drivers side dash......it is facing towards the driver so the connectors can be reached. The module just pops out.

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra and i am installing an after market stereo. I couldn't find a wiring harness so i cut the wires and began splicing them. The deck turns on but when I put a cd in, the speakers dont make any sound even though i have the remote wire off the deck attached to the factory amp wire. How can i get sound?
There is no remote wire on these newer trucks....03 and up....u have to buy the harness....although i didnt....i have an 03 gmc sierra and just pulled the schematic and matched the wires. And there is no programming to do on an aftermarket stereo.....I work for GMC and we cant program aftermarket stereos......if u buy the right harness ...and its over $100 then everything should work just fine.....and this does not disarm ur alarm system either....mine still works fine....hope this helps

2005 GMC Sierra Pickup - speedometer is at 60 when stopped and goes up from there as I drive
There was not a recall, but there was a class action settlement where GM agreed to extend the warranty on certain vehicles for this problem. Check www.gmspeedometerrecall.com to see if you qualify.

2003 GMC Sierra. The gauges do not work. All the lights on the panel work, just not the gauges. Is there a relay switch that pertains to the cluster? I checked the ipc fuse but it showed it was good.
No relay for guages. try slapping on top of dash to see if they come back on. They are controlled by a fuse and the body control module.

where is the 4x4 encoder motor sensor located on the 03 gmc sierra 2500 slt
the encoder motor sensor is inside the encoder motor. the encoder is located at the transfer case. Remove the encoder and by part number 88962315 this is the sensor. you will have to retime the motor after
hope this helps

dashboard light comes on displaying a yellow car and spanner symbol - what does this mean
Please note could not find holden barina or vauxhall in your list of car choices.
it means its due for service. If u wanna get rid of it without servicing the vehicle then as you start the car simultaneously push the ODOMETER reset button on the dash and it will wipe it. This will however just delay the point your car needs servicing.
