2005 Pontiac Sunfire is missing and lack the power (it wants to gain power but powers down (jumps)

I suspect you needto relace your coil pack. You are probably not running on all 4. the engine will run but only on 2 cylinders.
If missing replace coil pack. they go regularily on the 03/05 F style engines. You should be able to locate a good used one at a wreckers.

Order a new one on the internet and just replace it. You can buy generic parts for the arms but they won't last.

Where to check/put in transmission fluid in 2005 Pontiac Sunfire

I assume this is an automatic transmission, you didn't say.
There is no dip stick on the transmission any longer.
You will have to go under the car to check. You may want to go to your local instant oil change and have them check the level.
If you feel you want to check it, here is a description of the location and process.

Make certain the vehicle remains level while checking the fluid.
Located just above the top sealing flange of the transmission oil pan you will find a threaded plug. Remove the plug and see if transmission fluid drips out of the hole. If so, the fluid level is correct. If not, remove the red fill cap on top of the transmission, driver side. Add fluid to the transmission until fluid dribbles out of hole.
Replace and tighten the plug.
Good luck.

My brake lights and both signal lights do not work. I tried replacing a bulb in the signal light to see if it was just burnt out but it doesnt work. Why would they all stop working at once?

The most common cause would be the turn signal switch. You would need to check for power in and out of the brake light switch, then the turn signal switch to find the problem.

I want to tint my back window, and i think pulling

There's no simple way to remove the rear window on most cars. They are often glued in like front windows. It would likely cost less then $100 to have a professional tint the window with it in the vehicle. That in my opinion would be your best route.

I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire. I have the same problem that many other people have. The trunk latch bends the U hook mounted on the car. The U hook is mounted on a very week piece of metal that

if where the "U" hook is mounted is just sheet metal the that area will have to be strengthened. Get a piece of flat bar about 3/16 " thick and remove the hook, place the flat bar behind the sheet metal. Make it long enough to be able to drill outside the width of the hook. Mark holes for the hook and drill. place the flat bar behind the rear and do the hook back up This will place the flat bar behind the sheet metal in place now drill smaller holes for pop rivets and fix the bar to the sheet metal This mod will spread the load over a greater area of the hook and reduce the sheet metal bending

How to locate screw on windows wipers to fix. ..not working

  • Which screws are you looking for? Are you trying to find the pivot ball or the drive shaft to the transmission. If its the transmission shaft that bump at the bottom of the Wiper Arm is a cover over the Nut that holds it to the Drive Shaft which has Splines on it. If it is turning and the Arms are not could be the Splines are compromised. The Transmission is what that long metal frame with the Pivot Balls on it is called. That is located under that Cowl at the Wipers.

My oil light comes on when I stop

Check and make sure your engine has the recommend amount. When you stop your vehicle the engine is at idle and has a lower oil pressure then when your car is driving. A oil light is a pressure gauge, when the light is on when stopped is the first sign of an oil leak, most likely the oil pan gasket.
