Radio Reset codes
You will need to find your radio serial number...this is how you can do it on a 2001 MDX
Press preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time.
Turn on radio.
An 10 digit serial number will appear on display. make sure to include the small numbers or letters as well. This only works if the radio is locked.
After getting the radio serial number you will need your VIN number...call the dealership where you purchased the vehicle and give them both numbers and they can get it for you...thats the only way I know how to get the code.
High pitch whine or whistle
if it was front main seal, the belts all had to come off to acess this..as a result the timing belt may have been replaced by them and put on too tight which will whine as the engine runs..this will get less intense as the new belt gets stretched and will be gone within a few hundred miles..as long as the belt was installed to specs there should be no problem other than a noise which shouldnt last long repost if it keeps on or something else happens..good luck..
Car won't start & leaking lots of some kind of fluid
The computer stopped the car to prevent you driving it and destroying the engine. So you will not be able to restart it until the problem is fixed.Have you checked any of the following:== engine oil level== radiator coolant level== if its an auto trans, the auto transmission fluid level.Drop a white tissue into the fluid the car is dropping. Is it watery or oily and what colour is it.
