My 2001 acura mdx driver side door won't close
THE DOOR CATCH HAS A DOUBLE "C" THAT HOLDS THE DOOR CLOSED. FIRST TAKE A SCREWDRIVER INSIDE THE "C". USING THE HANDLE ON THE INSIDE, PULL THE HANDLE AS IF YOU WERE OPENING THE DOOR AND AT THE SAME TIME, OPEN THE DOUBLE "C" WITH THE SCREWDRIVER. I HOPE THIS HELPS. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. My 01 Acura MDX intermitently
This is still a EGR symptom coming up to a stop, Its not going to give you a code and it wont . This can only be found by a data stream, you can try these as a solution clean the throttle body and do a idle air control cleaning with a MAF cleaning, these should solve the problem But I am still sticking with EGR as a problem. But do a throttle body and idle air cintrol with a MAF cleaning,

This may sound a little gross, but put your finger in it and touch it to the tip of your tongue. If it has a real sweet tate, it is antifreeze. In this case, you need to replace your heater core. If it just tastes like rain water, then it could be Coming from the windshield, the roof, the cowl area, or even the passenger door. I did search for Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) for your vehicle and found none pertaining to a known possible source of a water leak. Water leaks can be very frustrating when it comes to locating the exact source. You must just follow the water trail until you find the entry point.
Computer box burnt. found another
Sometimes you can luck out and the car will start and run. Usually the numbers on the computers have to be identical. Most times though the new computer has to be reprogrammed to interact with the other computers on the car. ie BCM, TCM, and security.

Then diagnose the issue, using the codes and

No spark
Check the plug wires. Check your distributor cap for contact points and damage. It may be your rotor. It could be the distributor itself or a cam sensor and crank sensor. The only way to tell is by using a wiring schematic to check each wire coming and going. If you can get a code, that is your best bet. Otherwise, you need to start checking the wires. You can visually inspect the dist. cap and rotor, as well as the spark plug wires. Usuall, a cam sensor will go first. Not always, but usually. It may go all the way back to your ECM.
