That sounds like a great way to frazzle your electronics. If Chrysler thought that was a good idea, they would have put it on the production model. If you have issues you are trying to fix, just take the vehicle to a good auto-electrician.

You would be better to fly, or put her in the back seat with lots of pillows and use the centre lap strap as a seat belt. If you pull the seat all the way forward and remove the headrest, you should be able to see the maximum recline, but electric seats have a stop on them.

Hello. It seems your PT Cruiser might have low fuel pump pressure. This will cause a backfire/misfire condition upon 'mild' acceleration. 'Gentle' acceleration, your car will run 'decent'. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

I assume you are using the key because the fob no longer works. Put a new battery in it and see if it works. If not you will need to have the key and fob reset to work with the vehicle. The vehicle should not sound the alarm when you use the key. I assume the key still starts the engine but something is wrong that it doesn't recognize the key in the door. Take care of it soon or it may not start the engine just when you really need to go somewhere.

Make sure there isn't something keeping the door from closing completely. If that's ok, check the latch mechanism. It should be ope to allow the pin to go into it. If it isn't, you will need to get a large screw driver and while holding the latch handle open, pry the latch out to the open position. The latch mechanism looks like a big "C" and when in the open position the "C" opening is facing the pin located on the car body. If you have 2 latches, one or both may be in the closed position. I had a car and tried to run belt by taking the power steering pump off and the only way it would work was to disconnect the hoses that are connected to the pump and leave the pump in place so there is no pressure on it. If that won't work get a junker pump out of an auto wreckers . I ran mine like that for a couple of years.

remove the plastic hard line that supplies the fuel rail from either end. The end near the firewall is easiest but i remove both to check pressure at each end . It requires an inline connection with your fuel gauge to connect but is only way to check fuel pressure without crawling underneath which would require the same connection.

If no motor mount broken linkage feel loose syncroniser is gone inside the gear box

it could be the alternator . measure the output voltage across the battery with the engine running and car in neutral with hand brake on. It should at least 13.4 volts. If it does then I would get the battery checked at a car battery place. A car battery place could also check your alternator. If you are stranded at the lights suggest calling a mobile car battery replacement person or a road assist company if you are a member of one. They can jumper a temporary mobile battery across your battery to get car out of traffic stream !

Test each fuse with multimeter on ohms
