Gas in oil
It is caused by to much fuel washing down the cylinder. Could be caused by injector stuck open, low compression on cylinders, or weak ignition system. I would put new plugs in and run it. See what one or ones end up extremely black or end up wet with fuel. This will help to narrow down the problem.
Manual transmition hard in reverse
manual transmissions have slave cylinder that requires DOT 3 brake fluid, there is usually a half dollar sized reservoir near the brake master cylinder. if your fluid is low you will have trouble getting it in gear and in time burn up your clutch. also consider having your trans fluid flushed and adding an additive, it's not expensive on a manual trans. :)

Heater core replacement
take the glove box out. then disassemble the HVAC box. once the center portion is out or loose you can remove the heater core.
