Hi I would replace the fuel filter it sounds like the filter is not allowing the fuel to pass through unless its forced through ie having to keep the revs up. I always try to eliminate the cheapest option first I hope this helps Nick

Usually that happens if the body was wrongly assembled or somehow got askew (most often after heavy collision; but, you have said there was none).

Could it be the fuel filter is stopped up ? Changing it would not be that expensive and if you don't do it regularly it won't hurt.

if you are trying to reassemble the cv joint ( why ever you would need to pull it apart in the first place as the new boot slips over the assembly) do it outside of the transmission or you will damage the transmission internals place the transmission end on a block of wood line up the shaft and hit the top end with a heavy mallet ( sledge hammer will burr the ends ) of you are just putting the shaft back in the transmission to reassemble the front end , line up the splines and use the mallet to start the splines into place by compressing the circlip

You have or more burned out glow plugs and likely will need a new glow plug timer control.

10w-30 is what you would use in winter and 10w-40 in the summer

does that front end jacked up too? if yes, binding is cause. if yes, drop tie rods and find who binds. if turns easy now, then the power steering is bad. is the PS belt slipping? do the pressure tests? in the book.

Water out of an exhaust pipe is usually just hot gasses condensing on the surfaces of cooler metal exhaust pipes, and is normal. White steam or "smoke" however is in indication of coolant entering the combustion chamber and boiling off during ignition. It is superheated water vapor (more than 212 degrees) and turns to visible steam as it cools when leaving the exhaust pipe. This is the result of a cracked engine block or gasket and can be an expensive fix. Check and monitor your coolant level if unsure of the cause. Also check for milky colored oil on the dipstick - this is a sign of coolant entering the crankcase - also not good!

replace seals or stop overfilling it.

bad universal joint.bad wheel bearing..tire out of balance. have some sone take a look at the frame....its a 1994....things rust and break.
