Charging problem. Have a 97
Because of the load. It will drop in voltage, this is normal. As long as it stays above 12 you will be fine. But just to be sure start the car and turn everything on, then check the voltage. If it stays at 12.7 it's good.
I just put a timing
There is no adjustment. The belt is probably off by more than one tooth as it would likely start if it was just a tooth. Either way, the belt must be on perfectly for the engine to run well. Sometimes it is difficult to align the marks at the outside of the sprocket with the mark at the back cover. If you lay a tooth pick across the cam sprocket so that it follows the tooth under the belt to the back cover, it makes it easier.
Where are the connecters at
For 1997 Isuzu Truck Rodeo 2WD 3.2L MFI SOHC 6cyl the OBD Diagnostic Link Connector is located:

Can you replace an inline fuel filter without
the in-line filter is in the fuel line between the tank and the engine, seldom do you have to even touch the tank much less remove it in order to replace that filter. there is a screen on the pump inlet of the
in-tank fuel pump and most likely you are going to have to drop the tank in order to replace the pump or the fuel level sender. make sure there is not a service access hole in the rear of the car such as under the spare tire which could give you access to the top of the tank. on the other hand it is not unusual to find yourself in a situation where a lot of the fuel line must be replaced when you replace the in-line filter. as such you may find yourself with no room to connect the new fuel line to the nipple on top of the tank, without lowering the tank a bit.
Air conditioner fuse on my
that tells you that the device on the fuse is drawing too much current and needs to be replaced. the fuse is a safety valve. its function is to blow in order to save the wiring harness. take it to a shop which does A/C work and pay them to tell you what is bad. on a car that age most likely the compressor should be replaced.
Installed fuel pump on a 97 rodeo and its not
Hopefully you checked the relay switch under the hood before you replaced fuel pump. If not you can get the switch from o'reillys out parts for $22. I replaced it first b/c mine acted like it wasn't working at all and that fixed my problem.
What kind of oil should
You can basically use any oil you want. If you do regular oil changes Go with the less expensive. If you skip oil changes . Go with a better grade/ name/ high mileage. I change mine 4 times a year and go with the cheapest I can find. I use 10w30 in the winter time and switch to 10w40 in the summer. I have 175,000 miles on my truck and haven't had a problem. I also use an oil ttreament in each oil change since I hit 100,000 miles. I put in one pint of treatment untill I hit 200,000, then I will go to one quart. I have done this with a couple of cars and when I sold them they still had at least 40 pounds of pressure. Also I only change my oil filter every other time.
I have a 1997 isuzu
I can't get power to my fuel pump. I can't figure out what Colour wires are for my fuel pump in my wiring harness.
My 1997 isuzu rodeo has
If you have no Check Engine Light on, there is no misfiring, and the vehicle drives fine until it dies and starts right back up, this sounds like your ECU is failing. This could also be linked to the gas gauge problem, but usually the gas gauge is affected by the Fuel Level Sending unit in the tank with the fuel pump. I would start by checking the wiring to the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit. If it is loose, it could cause an intermittent stall, but usually this problem won't let the vehicle start right back up. When ECUs fail, they usually won't allow the engine to start right back up either, but I have seen this happen. If you can, swap a known working ECU in and see if the problem goes away. Else, you may have a sensor that is failing and causing the vehicle to stall and then start back up. The most common sensors to cause this problem are the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Camshaft Position Sensor. When they intermittently fail, the ignition cuts out causing the engine to stall, but it will start right back up like nothing ever happened. I’m happy to help further over the phone at

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you replace the window motor. Going down is easy for the motor even when it's faulty but you can expect that it's gonna be hard going up. Once replaced you'll be good.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
Where is the blower motor located on a 97 rodeo
Hi, the blower motor is located behind the glove box or compartment.
- Remove floor distribution ducts and glove box, as necessary to gain access to motor.
- Disconnect electrical connector from blower motor.
- Remove screws securing motor mounting plate to housing, then the motor assembly, taking care not to damage seal.
- Remove retaining ring securing impeller, then the impeller.
- Reverse procedure to install
I HAVE A 1997 ISUZU REDEO IT SOME TIMES JUST CUTS
There is a component mounted to the front of the throttle body called an IAC (Idle Air Control) valve. It is held on by (2) screws and has an electrical connector plugged into it. That unit can clog up with carbon deposits and cause the car to idle incorrectly. Sometimes the car may idle high (in the 2500 RPM range), other times it may stall out when you come to a stop. If you take it out, be careful not to drop the O-Ring that goes around it.
You can take it off and brush clean it with kerosene (DO NOT submerge it or pull on the spring loaded pintle). See if it helps to correct the issue.
Autozone carries the replacement part for about $50. Changing it definitely improves symptoms of car surges, stall outs, and hard to start conditions.
Best regards,
Steve
I have a 199 7Rodeo
You need to get the codes read to give you more of an answer. But it sounds like either a EGR or coil getting hot and overheating or possibly bad plugs. So many thigs can do that but I would start with the cheapest (plugs). Some EGR's can be checked if it's vacume style if you can reach the diaphram underneath and push up to see if it is stuck. It should move freely and not be hard like a rock.
Were is the water pump located on a 1997 isuze
if it is a 3.2 v6 it is internal you have to remove the timing belt cover on the front of the engine the water pump is driven by the timing belt it would be wise to replace timing belt at the same time
Diagnostic trouble code reading P1393
P1393 Glow plug circuit low input bank #2 for a rule of thumb the number one cylinder is the one first toward you thats the number 1 cylinder thats bank one, the other side is bank 2 so the glow pug circuit is no operational (relay area)
