I have a new transmission
Hello,
I know you just had a new transmission put in but my first suggestion would be to check the level of transmission fluid. However this transmission is "sealed" and must be checked from a little plug on the back of the transmission. If you pull it and fluid comes out then it is full. There is a transmission cooler on your truck and this should keep it cool if your level is full. The transmission fluid in your truck is recommended to use a synthetic fluid so perhaps inquire to the person who installed your transmission and make sure they used this. Not using a friction additive in the transmission fluid can and will make the plates overheat. You could have an issue with the sensor as well but I would suggest that you take the truck back to the person who installed the transmission right away and let them addresses it. You should have a 3 year warranty on it.

Tony
What is the spark plug setting for izuzu axiom 3.5
Hi. You will need to
Adjust each spark plug gap to 0.031-0.035 in. (0.8-0.9mm). With that said; i would check the status of all the ignition coils that are on top of each plug. Your engine is equipped with a COP coil design. Each plug will have its own individual coil on top. Each coil can be tested for proper resistance levels. You may have one or several bad coils that are malfunctioning. If these coils have not been changed, I would recommend to test each one to be sure that they are functioning at a high level.
Here is a simple testing procedure to verify that your coils are functioning as designed. A weak coil will cause a very hard start situation. Follow carefully:
1.First you will need to check the ignition coil assembly for insulation. Check terminals for corrosion or damage, and replace as necessary.
2. Next; Gather you ohmmeter or multimeter and measure the resistance of ignition coil assemblies and compare with the following specifications:
a. Terminal 1 to 2: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.
b. Terminal 1 to 3: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.
c. Terminal 2 to 3: Without 0 ohms or infinity maximum ohms.
3. Now; If the measured values exceed the specifications listed above, the ignition coil must be replaced.
Wont start is a voltage regulator on the isuzu
No. Check of faulted PCM. With car off, turn key to ignition ON, and do not crank. Look for check engine light to flash. If it does not, PCM is faulty. Also, possible crank position sensor or cam position sensor failed. The PCM needs to verify a certain number of RPM before the fuel pump will turn on.
Vehicle started up fine was put into park mode
it will be hard to tell you your problem with no more info than you have gave is the check engine or service engine soon light on? have you tried depressing accelerator pedal down slightly then trying to start? does vehicle have gas?you may want to check these things and repost.on a fuel injected vehicle such as this you shouldn,t have to touch accelerator at all to start but when you press pedal all the way to floor and try to start it puts vehicle in clear flood mode this may allow you to get started then once it starts again see if check engine light or service engine soon light stays on if so you have a diagnostic trouble code stored and by geeting your codes read then you will know what is causing problem hope this helps if not repost
