I have a 2006 mercury mountaineer, is there a way to disable the abs braking system

there are a lot of unsafe, un-insurable ways to do that yes, it IS there for a reason

Trouble codes for a 2004 mercury mountaineer

This is usually a miss fire - the 1 at the end indicates that it is on Cylinder 1. First thing to check is that your spark plugs are in good condition then ignition coils and any wiriing issues if you can swap ignition coil to another cylinder and see if the number moves - if it does then that is the issue. The next part to check is the fuel injectors if these are OK then it is likely sensors relating to air fuel mixture like the MAF or coolant sender.

2006 mercury mountaineer,when putting fuel in it the gas pump keeps shutting off like it full,but its not

There is a vent hose that comes from the tank back to the filler neck, it could also be the filler neck hose. Might be kinked or seperated.

Getting a code P0420 on my 2006 V8 Mountaineer

PO420-"Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1".Most likely you have a bad O2 sensor on bank 1(driver's side).There are 2,replace them both to make it easier.(My guess is the sensor before the catalytic converter is the bad one,if you want to try just one.)

Purchased 2006 mercury mountaineer i do not have factory keypad code

You should be able to drive the truck to the dealer and have them give you the code, provided it was not changed by the previous owner.Usually the code is in the owner's manual.

Kicks when stopping

In order to stop the kick from behind problem that suv, the dealer will have to flash your computer hardware in your car and recalibrate it with up to date PCM code. I guarantee the problem will go away and never return.

I have codes for bank 1 open and bank 2 closed air intake runner

It is on the upper intake manifold. Look for disconnected linkage rods to the actuators.

How do I replace the rear wheel studs on a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer

take off wheel and hub use hammer tap them out from front replace / insert new one in hole tap back in u will have to turn axle to desired location to get new one in
