Misfires while giving throttle
There could be quite a few things that could cause this issue. I recommend that you replace the fuel filter. If that is not the issue, I would then recommend that you pull the spark plugs and visually inspect each plug and replace if necessary. The spark plug wires could also cause this issue, as they will lose the conductive properties needed to deliver a solid charge to the spark plug under hot conditions and while accelerating. I hope that you have found this information to be useful, and if I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. Thank you for using fixya!
Engine valve or liter noise
It could possibly be a bent connecting rod, a bent / broken pushrod, broken spring, loose rocker or even a loose nut...
Hope this helps.....

I have a plymouth neon and need to find out how to fix code p0443
P0443 Code is purge control valve circuit. Go to the driver side near the battery or better yet use the underhood sticker emission diagram That black cylinder is the canister,on it is the purge valve which hoses lead to the intake. make sure the hose are not torn,or leaking or disconnected if it is clear the code rerun the monitor (just drive it its 2 trip),because more likely that would be the code for P0443.Just because its a valve circuit doesnt mean its the valve circuit the ECM sent a command to purge and the MAP did not detect a purge,The ECM doesnt know if it is caused by a bad purge solenoid a disconnected line for the purge (normally closed) so it coded it if you want to fix it it is either the hose of the purge or the valve itself.
2000 plymouth neon
113k miles
Not the spark plugs at all
Unless a wire burnt out,not that
You only get one of them in 50 years of driving
That leaves the ignition module,if you have one
or an individual coil for #2 if that applies
You can not have O2 Sensors in there over 100,000
miles or they slow down or quit. There goes your fuel
trim & thus your misfires as well
Clean your MAF Sensor
Check for vacuum leaks, every where on the car
I know how to convert km,I grew up in Ontario,500 miles
from here in N.J.
Point is ,10 years is too long on those O2 sensors, loose them
I have a 1995 Plymouth
the valves will also be bent. Its probably not worth it. thats why it should be replaced every 90K miles with a water pump and tensioner.
