How to replace throttle position sensor on a 2002 dodge neon?

I`m going to assume you know where the tps is, disconnect the wiring plug from the sensor, there are 2 screws(bolts) that hold the sensor to the throttle body, remove these and remove the sensor. install in reverse order, make sure you note the position of the sensor before you remove it and install in the same position. to verify correct install you will have to use a digital volt meter and check the voltage.

What makes it shakes

Sounds like bad brake pulsation, meaning warped rotors. When rotors are warped , they push the caliper piston in and out ,causing the brake pedal to pulsate and shake the steering wheel. I would start with replacing the front pads and rotors, and if you have drum brakes in the rear, have those cleaned and adjusted for a more balanced braking system.

Drivers door power window will not work - passenger side does.

Remove the drivers side window switch. With the ignition in "Acc" or "Run" position close the circuit by crossing the wires or if there is a plug, use a piece of wire to close the circuit. If you are lucky, the window will work, telling you it is the switch. If the Gods are not smiling on you, it will not work, telling you that it is likely the motor. The motor can be replaced. It's a real pain, though and sometimes will require special tools to remove the door panel and other components. Hopefully, your window is in the up position if you attempt this as many times the window glass in the dodwn position will tend to obstruct or even block your access to the screws/bolts holding the motor and flexible dirve cable in place.

Engine heats, but heater won't stay blowing warm air

I'm not sure about newer cars, but on older cars, the door was controlled by a vacuum valve, and the vacuum hose would get rotted. If not that, it might be the relay is corroded or the vacuum control device itself is going bad.

Neon Starting Problems

I don't know the miles or the previous work performed, but it sounds to me like the engine is suffering from oil starvation. Some causes could be:

1. Engine Sludge (Not Changing Oil At Proper Intervals)

2. Clogged Oil Passages In Cylinder Head (See #1)

3. Bad or Starting To Fail Oil Pump (Gettin' Old!)

Get an oil flush by a REAL mechanic and this will tell you a bit more about finding your solution! Hope I helped!

2001 Plymouth Neon gets a little hotter than normal when parked or idling, but cools back down during driving

i would suggest making sure you have proper level of coolant in it and maybe go with a lower temp thermostat like a 140 or 160 degree

My oil light keeps coming on

I had this problem and it was the oil pressure switch that had gone bad. Try changing that, it's a pretty cheap fix
