At freeway speeds if i hit a bump the front end

It could be because of worn out ball joints, or steering arm bushings. When ball joints wear out, they tend to rest against one end on even pavement, but as soon as you take the load off, such as in a bump, they go "crazy" and start banging against the stops until you reduce speed. If this has been going on for a while, there should be telltale signs on the wear pattern of the front tires. If you take the vehicle to a front end alignment place, they will tell you which parts have excessive play that should be replaced before aligning the front end.

I have a 2001 Plymouth

this is correct if you are talking about the power steering or ac, the power steering pulley can be replaced with out the pump being replaced, now, if its the ac throwing the belt it depends on if the compressor is frozen or just the pulley is bad, if the compressor is bad then replace the whole unit, to same some money get a used one, if the a/c doesnt work ddo you care? because a used one may have problem but will hold the belt. hope this is helpful.

After cleaning my 2001 Plymouth Neon engine with

There is a good chance that water has gotten down into the holes that the spark plugs are located in which is causing the spark plugs to misfire. Carefully remove the plug wires [one at a time] from on top of the spark plugs and check for any moisture in this cavity. If you find any you'll need to blow out the moisture with compressed air. Don't remove the spark plugs as this moisture wills then run into the cylinders! Once you have removed the moisture and wiped the plug wires dry then reinstall the wires on the plugs making sure they are pushed fully in place. I usually try to avoid pressure washing under the hood as there are many critical electrical connections and electronics that are water resistant but not water proof and if they can be easily damaged if they get moisture inside of them.

How do you replace the oil pan in a 2001 plymoth

Its very simple actually! First drain the oil and take off the filter as if you were going to do an oil change. Then jack up the car in the front on both sides of the wheels.Use jack stands if you have them when you get the car up to support it good cause you might be under there for a few minutes. You may have to scrap some of the oil off to see the pan bolts. They should be a 7/16 inch or a 10mm.Undo all the bolts around the pan and remove. Now reinstallation is reverse but remember to clean the block of the engine with a scaraper to ensure a good seal when you replace the pan and gasket. Check the new pan for surface cleaness, cover the entire edge of the pan with gasket sealer, put gasket on pan and replace.the two end cap gaskets are the same.

Are there any main fuses on a 2001 plymouth neon

Have you checked the starter solenoid. Your battery + cable connects to this then + cable runs from it to your starter. You also have an ignition switch wire connected to this. Just follow your cable from the battery and it will lead you right to the part. Some times these will break inside or the contacts go bad inside and therefore you will not get power to start the engine, but you will have power to turn on lights or whatever other accessories. The part is about $15

I have a 2001 plymouth neon. I need to replace the

no!!! jack up the front pf the car more toward the passenger side. when you get under there you will see the metal bracket that is preventing the bottom strater bolt from being removed.take out all (5) bolts for that bracket and use some type of pry tool to remove it. when you get that removed you will be able to fully remove the bottom starter bolt, turn the starter upwards so you can get to the wireing and disconnect it also. after that reach your hand under the front of the car and manouver the starter down through the front of the car and the removal is done!!!!! Installation is the reverse!!
