I have to replace the ballast for the HID

You need to remove the front bumper. Five push clips along the hood line, remove the headlight wipers (if equipped), one T25 screw in the front of each fender well, then two 12mm bolts under the headlights (1 each side). Then there are 4 10mm bolts holding the headlight in.

SRS AIRBAG SERVICE 2004 XC-90 MODEL

Most common SRS fault in XC90's is the driver side SIPS bag (side air bag) located in the side of the seat. The wire runs close to the hinge for the backrest and after working back and forth can break or short.

How do you properly remove inside panel on driver

Look for hidden screws, around the edge of the door, inside the door pocket, under the pull close handle and 'in & around' the door handle lever.
Then with those successfully removed, the whole door card should slide either up, or in the door edge direction to remove.
Be careful not to be too heavy handed, as this will undoubtedly break plastic lugs/clips etc.
Then once you have removed the door card, familiarize yourself, with where & how it fits on to the door for reassembly.
I hope I've helped.
Good luck

Blower motor 2001 xc70

There is a feature called afterblow. It was active on a variety of years and could be activated by the dealer when/if the customer was experiencing a musty smell from the air conditioner. Typically it will come on for about 3-5 min about 20-40 min after the car was shut down while the a/c was run.

I get a reading saying

The Misfire in Cyl 4 can be caused by
- bad/poorly connected/broken plug wires
- truly bad piston seal or scored cylinder wall.
- clogged/malfunctioning injector.

Only a compression test will reveal the true problem in cylinder 4.
Check the wires first though.

The bank 1 sensor is the front o2 sensor.

Thanks for using FixYa!!

Passenger door glass not connected to lift track

It is actually a fairly simple fix.

Open the door, remove the cover panel to access the inside panels.

There are 2 plastic grommets that attach to a slide track and the electric motor. The windo ride on the slide track.

It cost approx $10 for each grommet (you may only need the one)

I did it in a few hours (including running to the local dealer for the part) sorry do not remember the part number but the dealer will know.

No Manual

The "w" is for winter mode, mostly for icy and snow conditions. It stops the car from accelerating to hard. As a experiment, activate winter mode a put your foot flat to the floor from a stand still position. You'll soon know what it does.
