2002 Chrysler Concorde Questions & Answers
Help! I have a 2002
Hi
It sounds like an air issue either to much of it or not enough hence choking the engine. most likely cause is the air mass sensor, try and clean it before repacing it, use carb cleaner let it dry out then refit, if it runs a little better then you know what you need.
Alternatively check all your air pipes for leaks, getting to much air will do the same as getting none so have a good look around.
Hope this helps

Dan
What could be the reason for my 2002 Chrysler Concorde not to start up
The alternator could be bad and is having issues or the starter is not working or the battery needs to be replaced or be recharged or there is an ignition problem or a fuel system problem . A mechanic would have to look at your car and see why it is unable to start up. It could also be the fact that your car is old and may of had died on you guys and you should buy a new car.
My chrysler concorde 2002 limited
This is gearbox fault so you in limp mode.
Can't really help as can't see and plug in.
But usually on other cars I replace valve block and job done.
But I would never recommend this until I certain.
Ie plugged in and confirmed.
Last thing I want is you to jump in and replace and same problem.
But 1 thing.
Have you checked atf level and is it clean.
How do i remove a battery from a 2002 chrysler
Battery is behind the front left wheel. You have to remove the wheel to replace the battery. (you can access the battery w/out removing the wheel, but you can't actually get the battery out unless you take the wheel off.)
Once the wheel is off, remove the inner-fender well mud-guard and you will see the battery just forward of the wheel well. From there it's pretty straight forward.
Once this is removed, you should be able to see the battery hold-down bolts.
Remove these and remove the hold-down assembly.
If you are removing the battery, remove the 1st battery cable.
Depending upon what battery you have, you may be able to slide the battery back toward the wheel and disconnect the 2nd cable.
Jack the vehicle up, put on jack stands and remove the passenger side wheel.
On the front side of the wheel well there is an access panel that needs
to be removed in order to access the battery. There are 6-8 1/4" screws
to remove. Then manipulate the cover until you can remove it, bending it
slightly.
If you were unable to disconnect the 2nd battery cable earlier, you can
now move the battery further towards the rear of the car. Remove the 2nd
cable clamp from under the hood.
Slide the battery all the way out. It is heavy!
Reverse the instructions for reassembly.
2002 Chrysler Concorde 2.7 L overheating, changed, thermostat, water pump, air intake gasket and still overheating
When you changed these components and refilled the cooling system, did you purge the air out of the top of the system by opening the bleeder valve. These engines have coolant in areas higher up in the engine where air can be trapped during refill. Air trapped in the system will cause overheating issues. Otherwise, the only thing you haven't mentioned in the system is the radiator and fan assemblies. They could be suspect, as could a possible blown head gasket.
What do i do to get my 2002 Chrysler Concorde to blow heat?
Check the temp of the two hoses going to the heater core, one should be hotter then the other, if they are both the same of very little difference you have no flow through the core, if there is a heat control valve in the supply or return line it could be bad, or has a vacuum leak so its not actuating if not the core is probably plugged, or could be leaking, but usually you will smell the fluid and/or see a wet spot on the floor.
