Check in the trunk, on one of the fender walls, or under the spare (provided the spare is in the trunk under the carpet)

Sounds like EXACTLY what you described (I've had that happen before). There is a leaf (or similar plastic/natural object) in your fan blower. This is located under the dashboard, typically under (or most easily accessed from) the passenger floorboard. If lucky and like mine, it was a few bolts (3 or 4) to take the cover off (with the blower attached), and all kinds of dirt, and a big leaf, fell out. They get in when the outer air vents are open. Do the parking lights in front work ? check the fuse ?

run fault codes to see if anything comes up

Check transmission fluid while it is running in park

check your fuses first .as it can be a failing bulb failure warning relay.

has the engine been sitting for awhile if so you may need to take it in. but try giving it some gas while starting it

I would use a code reader to reset the new unit as it may be set to the old parameters of the old sensors and may not function properly.
