Holden rodeo 2.8 turbo diesel will idle and take

Your fuel pump is most likely the problem, well at least it was with mine that was doing exactly the same thing, pump is prohibitively expensive to repair or replace, mounted small electric pump to fuel line where it comes through the fire wall, problem solved for a little over $100.00

I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo the hood will not open.

Don't pull up on the front, but press down hard, while someone pulls on the handle. Try whacking it some more there, too, while latch is being pulled. Another place to hit is at rear of hood on driver's side.If it still won't open, you may have to get your hand on the hood latch to move the lever that the handle cable attaches to. The lever would have to move towards the driver's side to pop the latch. Sometimes a long screwdriver poked up from underneath may reach the latch. Or you may be able to get your hand in past the grill, or remove the grill to get your hand to the latch. When you do get it open, put a few drops of oil on the latch mechanism, and see if any adjustments can be made to open it easier either on the hood itself, or the latch mechanism. Just about all cars have a way to adjust the latch.Good luck.

1998 honda passport ac not working compressor clutch engages

Just because the clutch is engaging does not mean it has enough freon to make it cold. I would want to know what the high and low pressure gauge readings are. It may need a can or two.

2001 Isuzu Rodeo 4 cylinder Check Engine Light

Normally a shop would use a scanner to watch the operation of the EGR valve and sensor. Code 401 means the sensor is telling the computer the flow is not enough. So the problem could be the sensor rather than the EGR valve. And yes one of the ports could be blocked too.

How to check transmission fluid on 2001 isuzu rodeo

There is no dipstick on your auto trans. Checking it is a real PITA The trans pan has 2 plugs in it. The one on the very bottom is the drain. The one in the corner, up higher in a recess is the check/fill plug. To check, the engine must be warm and running, tranny in P. Remove the plug and fluid should dribble out. If it doesn't it's low, fill until it dribbles out, while engine is running. Obviously the truck must be on a lift or up on jackstands.
