try removing the hose at the nozzles and use compressed air and a blower nozzle to blow back out the blockage from the nozzle opening

You need to disconnect the wire connector at the high pressure switch, jump the tow wires in the connector with a paper clip, start the car and you should be able to add your refrigerant. Most compressors will not start when too low.

Lots of automatics have had electronic control for around 30 years that has become much more sophisticated over time. The same can be said of engine management and it was inevitable the two brains would be linked so they could talk to each other - and influence each other, though I believe the engine influences the transmission more. I know little about autos because over here almost every car is a manual but I think it unlikely an engine fault that switches on the engine check light - meaning it is on the emergency get-you-home programme - would not affect the automatic transmission in some way. There is really only one way to discover if this is true or false and that is to get your engine fixed.

which engine? its on mitchell DIY, google that it too will ask what engine. most cars EFI, gas. pump wire hot to ECU fuel pump relay.

2001 usa. all cars in USA the OBD2 port is 16 pins , not all are populated but it has 16 D-shell pin holes matching all scan tools in USA< (yah we invented it !!!!) the law says (EPA ) the connector is about arms length from center of steering wheel rear center (horn) so its under cash or hidden in a cover there, or behind and ash tray, or other panel there the service manual has a photo of this. why not ask a shop to show you, its 5min work do to limits of distance, its easy to find. here ill search google for you,. rodeo or rodeo sport.? log in to mitchell diy and read a bother? if the windows work then CB15 and CB21 are good recline and slide motors in seat , both driver and passengers dead and all modes, slide and recline. there are 4 motors. if all 4 were dead CB21,feed suspect or bad ground. there is only one ground B6 if only one fails then only it is bad. (or the switch driving it) we check voltage to the failing motor, first. if good the motor is bad or seat is jammed if motor groans , it may be only jammed. we cant hear it , or check voltage, only you.

first off,. you never scanned it... so the DTC errors stored, are UNKNOWN (and matter) but here is how to reset the CEL. on all USA cars, 1996 to NOW. (we invented this) if and only if the error is cured, the bad parts repaired due to the fact that buttons can not repair cars, people do. in no order, all ways to skin this cat. 1:drive them off, can take long distances, or many driving cycles. the Service manual; on your car tells you this for each DTC stored. and is different for each. 2: push reset button on the scan tool. the pro way .! 3: pull the battery neg lug for say 5min. this can brick the radio on NAV on newer cars. and cause transmission relearn mode and more. ask. 4: pull the PCM memory fuse. (ask but no engine stated so no help here) its the fuse on the schematic marked hot all the time. that be it. (PCM schem) pull power for 5min, to let the memory bank capacitors to self discharge. if it takes 10 min, so be it, the caps can be 2x better than labeled in the real word. (micro farads) in electronics it's 3 time constant's or about 0.7v volts, it resets. I say this because, of the vast posts that confuse folks about the rules of filter capacitors. T = RxC is the math. 3T and its reset.

first off all cars have a FSM factory service manual. and the chapter on wipers even tells you how it works. and with a full schematic. why work blind, just guessing and flaying about like robot in lost in space.
