1989 jeep wrangler 2.5 f.i. sometimes it starts
if the 6 volts is not steady it can be the earthing, or a bad connection on the relay. if the relay is getting hot then replace this as this can be a problem when the relay is warn. clean all the earthing points and wires. this will improve the the electric flow. also if you don't have one fit a ***** strip wire from the body shell to the engine, this can improve alternator voltage, meaning better charge to the battery.

Every thing works in my fuse box but the
i would start at the ignition switch as thats where the power comes from to power up the fuses for these components, there are power wires from the engine compartment that come throught the dash in the center or rather come through the firewall, i belive its about 4-6 wires with a connector plug under the center of the dash, the connector heats up and causes a bad connection, start by located that first then check the postive side of the battery for a bad power wire connection if its not the main power wires that i told you about in the center of the dash, you can get to them from the driverside under the dash. let me know the outcome.

Just changed the 2.5L engine
Have you checked the firing order to make sure the plug wires are in correct order. Sometimes an engine will run but rough if 2 wires are mixed but it could be that there's more than 2 mixed up.
