1989 wrangler 2.5L won't turn off with new switch
Hi there:Bad installing or a problem with the connections.
The most likely problem is a bad ignition switch. To find out for sure, remove the plastic covers over the steering column and remove the 2 screws holding the ignition switch in place. Make sure the mechanism coming from the key is turning the ignition switch. If the mechanism works fine, replace the ignition switch.I would suggest removing the ignition switch and checking the mechanism in the column to make sure it is actually turning the ignition switch off.You could have a wiring problem, you will have to follow all the wiring from the ignition switch down the column and into the harness, there is sure to be a short in the wiring harness, that is if as you said you replaced the ignition switch for a new one.To test this, remove the plastics around the steering column and pull out the wiring plug to the ignition switch, if the ignition turns off you have another faulty ignition switch if it stays on wiring harness has shorted out.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Replace calipers
Take it to a shop you life and the lives of others on the road depend on your brakes. If you have to ask... DON'T TOUCH THEM. If you know someone have them show you but seriously if you have no idea don't mess with the brakes.
