Repair coil spring

Remove all the components, drill out the spot welds for the rusted panels, probably about 100 of them. Get new panels and weld them back in. Very difficult procedure and somewhere in the expert skill level. Suggestion is get another car and turn that one in for scrap metal.

Where is the radiator drain plug on a 94 plymouth acclaim

Look from under rad support if you can for a plastic (looks like ears) plug to twist and pull/wiggle. Usaully on passenger side area or end of rad. If all else fails, I find it easier to slowly remove lower hose.

Heat only comes out the defrost vents

There is a blend door under the dash - likely either the servo that moves the door is out, the wires are corroded, or the cable is stuck. This is a labor intensive problem that cannot be solved without disassembling most of the dash - it is possible that you could physically move the door to allow air flow through the other ducting, but it would be very easy to break something crucial as most of the pivoting parts are plastic. Since winter is coming, I know from experience it is better to have defrost than floor heat. the simplest ( and cheapest) solution would be to buy a small ceramic 12v heater to plug into your cigarette lighter or other 12v outlet until spring, when it warms up and you won't need the defrost - this will also give you the chance to save up some money for the repair, since most shops charge $85.00 an hour or more for their time - and this could chew up a couple of hundred dollars or more!Hope this helps and thanks for using Fixya!

The cam snapped in half. on my 1994 ply. acclaim. and there is only fifty lb's of compression in #1 cylinder, and a major leak in cylinder # 2.

With the cam in 2 pieces it is a sure bet that the half that is not moving will have bent valves from the piston hitting them. It likes a head off for valve replacement

1994 plymouth acclaim no brake lites as soon as i put in a new fuse it instantly pops

So, open the trunk of the car and see if you have a couple of plastic panels covering the taillights on each side, and an access panel to the extra brake light in the back window. That access may be either inside the car or from inside the trunk.Remove the panels and remove the brake light bulbs. If you don't know which ones they are, take 'em all out, make yourself a map and tell yourself where each one came from, and set those aside. Now replace that fuse again, and press the brake pedal. If the fuse blows, and you don't even have any brake light bulbs in, you have a short in the wiring somewhere. This might be from an earlier car accident where some wire insulation has rubbed off, or from someone messing with the wires, like when someone adds a trailer wiring harness to the rear.Let's pretend the fuse doesn't blow. Now, put back one bulb at a time, and each time press the brake pedal to see if that was the offending bulb. This should help you pinpoint the problem.

Fuse pops for brake lights soon as i put it in

This is an easy solution with potentially hours of looking. You have a short in a wire somewhere along the line. It could be from brake light to brake light or the wiring to the fuse panel itself. Another place to check is at the socket itself. Grab a meter and start eliminating.
