Why doesn't it start?

I ran into this once when I changed a 2000 engine with a 2001 engine. The crankshaft gear for the timing belt was different. One had 2 ears for the crank angle sensor and one had 4. To check if this is the problem, pull all 4 sparkplugs, hook them to your plug wires, turn the engine over and see if you only have spark to 2 cylinders. If that's what you find then you will need to replace the crankshaft timing belt gear. If that's not it, and you have spark to all 4 cyls., check your fuses. It could be a fuel pump fuse or ECM or an number of other fuses. Good luck Dave

Where is the fuse box for the 2005 Subaru Forester?

Hello, the interior fuse box is usually located behind the left side dash. Look to see if your car has a small drop down coin compartment just left of your left knee if your sitting in the drivers seat. If you open the small compartment and pull straight back and up the compartment will pop off of its mounting tabs and the fuse box is inside. The fuse map/legend should be on the back of the compartment you just pulled out. The under hood fuse box is on the drivers side of the car, under the hood just inside of the left front fender. It's almost touching the battery and washer fluid reservoir. I hope this info helps.

How do I do a computer reset for a 2005 Forester

you only do a computer reset when the check engine light is on if you have an obd2 scanner at your disposal, you can reset the computer that way AKA clearing any stored trouble codes in the computer

I Have 2005 forester 5 spd . P0502 and speedo not working. Is there 1 or 2 vss on a manual tranny. And is it the problem .

Hello, it is most likely the vehicle speed sensor. There is only one and should be mounted on the passengers side in the upper center section of the trans. The Subaru pin-point test says: Step 1-Is the vehicle an automatic?...No, then go to step 3- Does the speedometer operate normally?...No, Then check speedometer and VSS. I own two Subys and I've replace the speed sensor on one of them, I haven't seen to many gauge pods go out but it's not unheard of. But it's a lot cheaper to try a vehicle speed sensor than it is for a gauge pod. I hope this info helps!

Disc will not load into subaru forester cd changer

This also happened to my 2002 WRX. I took the CD player out of the console and found a tiny spring (which I could not find) was not in its location, which would actuate the "play CD" switch inside. After a few hours I decided to reassemble the player and use it as a non-CD unit. The radio and cassette player still work, so I purchased a cassette MP3 player adapter so I can plug in my cell phone and play songlists.

Is it in dash or the multi in back unscrew dash plate around radio use a magnetic screw driver because the screws are in the two front vents once thes removed the dash radio plate should pop off without force exposing radio behind unscrew that unplug wires pull rest the way out now the advice make sure if your replacing with aftermarket make sure your wire leads are connected correctly no splicing of main wires in dash thats nono trouble as wires now have multifunctions to them it should be simple as plug and play

What happens if you dont get a rotor fixed?

There are sensors on the wheels that have very close tolerances to the wheel ring that senses motion. If something was to get stuck in there it could damage the sensor.
