It is on the left side of the passenger foot well, front seat.

An automatic transmission with 300,000 miles on it should be in some kind of record book it's unheard of !!! It seems counterintuitive but changing the fluid on a tranny with this many miles can be the death knell. I have seen it many times but if you got that many miles out of it was on deaths door anyway. If you are really attached to it don't even think about a junk yard tranny, they will be just a little less worn out that the original in you car now. FYI it's going to be at least 2G's to have it rebuilt.

you will have either a cable to the trans or a wire that hooks to a gear that turns sending a signal to the odometer. this is assuming the speedo is not working if the speedo works ok the gearing inside the odometer is broken

have the viscous fan hub checked for correct operation If you are running a electronic controlled vehicle it may be the cpu is shutting down the engine to prevent damage. Check water level and check condition of fins on the radiator If you are experiencing the problem when stopped at lights check the hub first as they are prone to failure.

if its a diesel check the throttle cable is not bent.

There is a motor in the door that needs to be replaced. Also there is a little pin that allows the window to stay in place and on track. Replace this as well.

Fuel pump when u turn key do u here a little whining up sound if not then pump check fuel filter also also make sure your getting spark to the plugs a repair manual will help u if you don't want to take it to a shop but my guess would be fuel pump k

i would check the fuel cut off safety switch first ,no idea where it is though but it could be under the bonnet its about a inch square top with a red rubber cover ,push it down and it will clic if its popped out
