I have checked all the fuses, the speedo consol lights dont work but the heater control lights do , Help!
with lights off and battery disconnected remove the twist knob on the dash that brighten and dims your dash lights and jump the two prongs with a jumper wire. connect battery and turn lights on all your dash lights should work now. if thay don't take the dash screws out and replace the bulbs, it's really easy if you have mechanical skills if not consult a friend that does. now you know the dash light dimmer switch is bad and they are hard to find i found mine in a wreck but until i did i just left the jumper wire in place (about a year and 1/2)

got slightly rear ended and the tailgate handle was pushed in. Can still swing open the handle with the tire but pushing the button to open the rear window does not release the latch so I can't open the rear window or tailgate. How can I take the tailgate latch apart?
if you take off interior panel.....push out the dent with a bar....then try button if no work go back inside and you should see bars going down from handle to latch area...pull up on it and should pop the trunk

i am buying a 95 rodeo tomorrow around 3:00pm and the owner broke the only key off in the glove box so i cant start the truck or even unlock the steering to manuever on a trailer. it has to go tomorrow. I`m a well rounded machanic and i`m sure i can remove the lock cylinder fine but after i remove i`m sure i can unlock the steering but i`m not sure if i can start it without a new lock cyl, i would like to because i have not even heard it run yet. Any info or how to`s would be greatly appreciated ...thanks
Great to hear the update, and that the car is up and running. Good luck with it,
Curt

How do you fold the back seat down on a 95 Isuzu Rodeo 2wd
Here is how I fold down the back seat of my 1995 Rodeo. First thing I do is remove the headrests on the back seat. Then I place my knees (and all my weight) on the middle of the seat (bench), and pull on both belts straps. If this is done properly, I will hear each strap release. (sort of a click). As soon as I hear it release, I stand up as best I can while at the same time pulling up the seat. I then manage to step out of the Rodeo while letting the seat fall forward. After that, I am able to drop the other part of the seat into the forward position.
