Have you done any diagnostics? When the problem is ongoing, are you saying it cranks good but won't start? If so, engine cranking, did you check for spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? If your missing both, I'd check the cam and crank sensors. Don't replace anything unless your testing points in that direction. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free or get an obd2 code reader.

Getting no spark on a 1997 Plymouth Breeze

As I am not familiar with the model a description of the system/circuitry would have been useful. The first rule of fault diagnosis is not to replace any components until testing has proved them to be faulty. The main ECU has for many years mostly been integrated with the ignition amplifier. Assuming the ECU has no faults it will provide an output into a healthy ignition coil(s) only if it is provided with good current supplies, grounds and information from sensors. It isn't enough to replace a sensor - it is necessary to ensure the information from the sensor is actually reaching the ECU by referring to the wiring diagram, checking continuity of wiring, voltages and suchlike using multimeter, scanner and oscilloscope as applicable. In other words a back to basics approach...

1997 plymoth breeze keeps dying 2 or 3 minutes after starting. I then wait 10 minutes and it will start and die again. I need help. I am fixing this on my own so if someone can help I appericate it

When it dies, pull a spark plug wire and put a screwdriver in it. Let it close to metal. Try to start the engine and watch for spark from the screwdriver. No spark. It could be the coil pack or crank sensor. If the check engine light is on, I would go after the crank sensor first.

Car is rattling and the engine is pulsating. It cuts off as if it's losing power. I just got a new alternator. It also over-heats real fast.

You need a new car. Sounds like there is no water in the radiator, and if it got hot enough to start rattling, the engine is probably toast.

Help diagnosing a leak in my radiator system.

Hello Jeremiah, I agree you have a leak. The best way to find your leak is to use a cooling system pressure tester. Your leak could be as simple as a loose hose clamp or as complicated as a leaking water pump or a leaking head gasket .

YOu need to look on you tube. Either the coil is bad. This generates the spark. Or it is the signal which times the coil. This could be the computer or an input to the computer.
