2000 suzuki jimny transmission not
Hi, my car does not change gear during driving. I am told the transmission is stuck in 3rd gear. Even when taking off from a complete stop, I have to rev the engine before the car moves. Sometimes after a long drive the engine would switch off and only start after a 10 minute break. What could be the problem?
Engine oil and tyre pressures
use 10W30W, that is the heaviest oil this engine needs, thicker oils can damage the bearings due to oil starvation, as far as tire pressure goes 30- 32 PSI is best for this little car.
I have 1 1996 Suzuki
First of all check the coolant level and also check if the refrigerant level in the ac is not low.If its low or in case leaking then car will give hot air.Get the ac pressure test done.his will confirm if the refrigerant is low or leaking. It can be done at any car garage.
If that is checked ok then get the blend door checked. If the blend door is not getting opened properly then this will block the cool air from blowing in the vents.
The control lever you move operates a mechanical lever that operates a vacuum control that operates the vent doors/air flow. Check the control lever.
A flap in the dash that lets air go in to the heater core whin you set it to cold that flap should close stoping any air from going in the heater core yours is not working could be hung or the controls are lose or bad.The heater core always being hot. There are control flaps that keep the air from passing directly through the heater, but it just ends up heating the entire vent system structure to the point where the air flowing nearby gets heated indirectly.if there is coolant in the heater core and the hoses, the heat will eventually get there. Drain the heater core and the hoses going to it, then attach everything with the valves closed. core is stuck in the hot position. The repair of this involves replacing the heater core. There is a flap in the system that controls the movement of hot air into the cabin and it can become stuck in the open position so there is always hot air coming into the cabin even if the knob on the dash is in the cool position. Also check if the hose is broken.A broken hose which is allowing hot air from the motor into the vehicle.-========
