1995 Chrysler LeBaron - Page 9 Questions & Answers
I replaced the water pump on the 95 lebaren 3.0,
pretty good chance but let you ask you this...did you use RTV when installing the pump
more often than not RTV, when used is the cause and then when not used is the cause because the mating surfaces are not flat
darned if you do and darned if you don't
most guys in my shop end up re-doing these pumps at least once
The convertible top will not go up
I would check the switch if you don't hear the pump run. There are some relays in the trunk area that may have a problem. It also maybe the hydralic pump which is mounted in the front of the trunk under some cardboard and carpet covers.

If it is truly a factory alarm and not a aftermarket dealer installed one, then you should be able to insert the key into driver door and first lock, and then unlock the car which should disable the system. I am guessing that the key chain remote is either damaged or has a dead battery?
If that does not work you can also try the lock-unlock sequence on the passenger side. There is a sensor switch on the latch inside the door which should reset the alarm.
Belt Diagram for 3.0 Chrysler
Go to daycoproducts.com, they have illistrations for just about every vehicle. When you get to the Home page click on 'cars and light trucks" then on "serpentine belts". Then, go to the right side of the page and click on "belt routing guide" find your car, then get the illistration number. Close out that page and got "belt routing guide illitrations" go to the illistration number for your car.
Headlights come on when the battery is hooked up,
Try looking first at the big heavy fuses by the battery first ,the power then runs to through a fuse in the fuse box then to the light switch but some vehicles run the power for the lights through the ignition switch so lights turn off when key is pulled out .then on to the switch ,so its possible that if you vehicle doesnt turn off with the ign key then its straight to the switch ,in which case the fault is the light switch. Now if your lights turn on and only operate with the key in then you could have a more complicated system where a relay is used that allows power to the switch only when ignition is turned on,but again only the switch would cause the lights to stay on and they would turn off with the key.But if you have a problem with the lights coming on without the key in and the switch multiplug pulled out ,now i would be looking for a perished wire somewhere in the loom and this is?? slightly difficult .Another alternative is that some vehicles have a relay after the switch so the switch turns the relay on which allows power to the lights and if this relay has burnt contacts that are sticking together then thats your problem. But the ten million dollar question is where is this relay located ?? i would hazard a guess and say its under the bonnet close to the lights ,connect battery and pull every relay that you can find in the area.when the light go out you have found the correct relay.Sorry i cant help with the location of the relay because iam in spain and yes we do have the odd le baron but i havent worked on any.AS YET
Trunk latch is switched to locked and won't open on a 95 chrysler
If you are talking about where the key goes, try inserting a small pin or paper clip(straightened) to hold open the little door where the key goes while spraying a bit of WD40 or CRC-56 into the lock. It won't hurt the paint. After spraying, insert the key in and out a number of times. Spray again, this time with the key inserted. Move the key up and down while sliding in and out. This should free up any stuck tumblers. If she still wont open, repeat the process. Still no luck? May need a new tumbler.
95 LEBARON won't start, its dead not the battery
If the battery and the starter are good then you need to check the ground to the motor,or clean the battery cable ends with a knife to get off the black **** that builds up on them over time.
