There is 2 different flashers. One flasher for the turn signals and one flasher for the hazards. If you turn on the turn signals and the turn indicator on the dash lights up but doesn't blink, then most likely it is the turn signal flasher that is bad. Good luck.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. Check your spark plug wires, using insulated pliers pull the wires off one at a time to see it each one has spark. You may have bad wires ore even a bad cap even if it is new. Since some cylinder are firing I think you have a wire problem.
