2004 Chrysler Voyager - Page 4 Questions & Answers
Hi all, Have recntly been
The light is on for a reason
The mechanic & yourself should have
continued on & worked together to resolve
the O2 Sensor rich condition
The E10 won't be an issue
You don't clean any type of sensors ,except
the MAF, no way to clean an O2,they get replaced,
front ones only at 100,000 miles or when the switching
count is too slow.
Any mechanic should be able to diagnose those issues
I don't understand the hundreds of questions we get
here every day. You took the first steps, then came home,
without requiring the mechanic to fix the issue and nothing else.
I hope he charged you for his time.
I wouldn't take out my scanner out of the
tool box until you were paying for my time
Radio is not working
Unfortunately, these Chrysler codes are not available anywhere on the Net for free. However, you can get these codes from the serial number here. I have always found them cheap and reliable.
As yours is one of the older Chrysler radios you need to provide them with the part no. as well as the serial no. They will email the code right back to you on the same day and I can vouch for them as I use this site for units I repair that occassionally need a code.
Hope this is of some help. Thanks for using FixYa.

Hi, here is an idea for you. In the power box under the hood there is a diode attached to fuse 24. If that diode is burned, it may be pulling down the voltage to the lamps. Try pulling that diode out of the box to see if the lights will blink.
Clutch peddal went straight to floor and wont come
probably have a leak in the system somewhere fill it up with the proper fluid push pedel slowly while someone inspects the clutch lines lines and slave cylinder, and master cylinder to see where its coming from, there not too many parts in the clutch system. the slave sylinder may be internal which would make it harder to inspect but not inpossible
I recently bought a second hand grand voyager and
It means that the pre heat is in operation. It is a system that burns diesel to create heat to warm up engine quicker so that warm air comes into car sooner. The smoke is the exhaust gasses from the system and normally the whistleing and smoke stops when engine reaches running temperature or on short journeys approx 1 minute after engine is turned off
During summer when no heat is required and air con is on cooling it should not light even when starting from cold
hope this helps

The battery will not discharge unless there is a drain. When the car is shut down disconnect the negative battery terminal. Put a DC ammeter between (in series) the battery negative terminal and the disconnected cable. The drain due to electric clock and immobiliser circuit will be in the order of 30mA (0.03 Amps). Remove each fuse in turn and note any drops in the current drawn. At some point you will encounter a fuse which when removed drops the current drain, it is this particular circuit that is primarily the cause of the battery discharging and it will need closer inspection to detect the fault within it. If you can leave this fuse out to prevent battery discharge.
