A/c evaporator replacement
There is quite a bit to do when taking on this job. Below are some pictures of stuff you will need to get to not to mention the instrument cluster has to come out as well. If you think you are up to it feel free to email me at
[email protected] with your vehicle information and I will be happy tp send you instructions with pictures. There wouldn't be a cost for it but just want to be sure that you can do this, If you are pretty mechanically inclinde you can most likely do it. You did get a new accumulator and orifice tube didn't you ? Anyway, don't mind helping and way to much to try and post on here.

How do you change out the Spider gears in a 1999
Jack up the vehicle and place jack stands under the reared. Remove tires and brake hubs. Then loosen bolts on diff cover and drain diff grease. Remove the cover. Rotate carrier until you locate the bolt that holds the rod in place and remove it and rod. Rotate the carrier until one of the small gears come around and remove it and the shim and rotate again to get the other small one and shim. Then on either side push the axle to the inside just enough to remove the c clip and then pull it out till it clears the bigger gear and remove that gear and shim. Repeat for the other side. Repeat process in reverse order to reassemble. Fill with grease until it runs out the fill hole. Install plug and test drive the jeep. About an hour job for a novice mechanic and a hundred bucks.
