My van is stalling when i come to a stop. was told it maybe the fuel filter is this true
You own the vehicle & should know how long the gas filter has been in thereI suggest replacing it every 3 years, you can go longer if you choose & have a plastic fuel tank & no issuesCut one open when you change it & see how it looksIf you can drive it with no issues for the most part, then---NO-- it isn't the gas filterA totally clogged filter is unlikely & you would onlyhave a problem getting up to & past 40 mphAs was suggested, check for codes, even withouta dash light onNeed professional scanner for that ,not somethingfree at parts storeIf you have an Idle Air Control Valve near the throttle, clean that
Gauges & brakes going out intermittenly....are they related?
They are most likely related. The communication error can be a couple different things. Firstly,it could be that you have a broken or shorted wire somewhere to the ECM.Or,..the ECM is going bad. From the way you describe it,its a wiring,or connection problem, and will take a professional to trace it down and repair the problem.Good Luck!

How do i siphon my gas out
The hose needs to be long enough to reach the fuel for starters. You have to "****" on those hose as though its a straw. When the fuel is drwan up by your sucking motion, immediately remove the hose from your mouth and place it in a "fuel safe" container. The fuel will "siphon" out until its gone or you remove the hose. Remember, you will get some fuel in your mouth while doing this. I don't recommend it, but at least you know how to do it now!!!!!

Suzuki1999 grand vitara will not start
the fuel pump is only designed to run until it reaches a preset pressure. once it reaches that pressure it turns off. One way I know to check it without dropping the tank is to remove the fuel filter. Put the fuel line in a gas can so you don't get gas all over. turn the key on if the pump keeps pumping fuel then it's not the problem. at that point I would buy a new fuel filter because it may be clogged and the reason no fuel is getting to the engine and they are inexpensive and a good idea to keep changed anyway.
99 voyeger falt code how to check
You need a OBD2 fault code reader as a minimum tool, the connector you plug it into is under the dash on the drivers side, see picture of standard OBD2 connector below.
Car overheating
First you need to find out where the leak or area the coolant is coming from. It may just be running out of coolant and over heating. If the fans aren't on when the car is running it could be the overheating issue and the coolant is purging out of the overflow.
