I know your problem has been fixed by now, but I wanted to answer in case anyone else is looking for this. That symbol is indicative of a TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System) malfunction. It more than likely meant that one or more of your tires were low. But could also mean that your car's onboard computer can no longer monitor the system at all and needs fixed.

you sure its a 2005? cant seem to find a swift made in 2005 the valve in the rack and pinion may be sticking causing this. its possible the power steering pump may be weak as well. need to have the pressure checked in the high side of the system to see which is the culprit. hope this helps

Hi Lorain, Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. The defect you're describing could be due to a number of different faults. Your best course of action will be to take the vehicle to a workshop and have a diagnostic scan carried out. SOUND LIKE VECHICLE IN THEFT SECURITY MODE CAUSED BY WORN KEY OR IMMOBILIZER READ COIL.PROBLEM IN THE BCM AND ECM.TRY INSTALLING KEY IGNITION SWITCH.TURN SWITCH TO THE ON POSITION FOR 10 MINUTES UNTIL THE YELLOW LOCK LIGHT TURN OFF OR DISAPPEAR.THEN TURN OFF IGNITION SWITCH FOR 5 SECONDS, THEN TRY START VECHICLE.IF VECHICLE STILL DONT CRANK.HAVE VECHICLE CODE SCAN FOR THEFT SECURITY FAULT CODES.
