How many oxygen sensors does a 2004 Suzuki Verona have and where are they?
You would have Four of them. There are Two Upstream for Cylinders 1-3, and 4-6. Then there are Two Downstream for Cylinders 1-3 and 4-6. Look at the rear of the engine and you will see the Catalytic Converter canisters sitting there. There will be a Sensor before and after each Cat with the wiring harness up toward the top of the engine. There is a Sensor for each bank with one upstream, before the Cat and one downstream, after the Cat.
Eradic idle when in park
Just went through this madness. They replaced the throttle body and it didn't fix the problem. They did the vacuum lines, another NoGo. Replaced the main engine wiring harness runs like day 1. I was told that the harness begins to break down and the performance of the automobile becomes majorly compromised. I would appear that you are having a multitude of performance issues including check engine lights with no registered codes in the computer. Have your mechanic do a engine harness shake test. This will induce the experience.

How do i shift out of park with shift lock on 2005 suzuki verona?
Other Suzuki's (older/different models) have a small panel on the driver's side of the console next to the shifter. It is normally held on by a small Philips screw. Remove it to access a lever with your finger. to release the brake shift lock safety interlock.
I am assuming this will work with your 2005 Suzuki Verona.
My suzuki verona 04, gear shifter is stuck on park, i have to hit the brakes severally for it to move to drive.
There is a lock mechanism that prevents moving shifter out of PARK unless your foot is on the brake. You can bypass this by sticking a small flat blade screwdriver or a key into the little slot on the console by the shift lever.
Are your brake lights coming on when you press the brake pedal? The shift lock is released electrically when your foot is on the brake, and the sensor is tied to the brake light switch circuit. The brake light switch can be seen if you look under the dash at the brake arm. First, check the connector. If the switch is out of adjustment, you can screw it in or out to adjust. Or just buy a new one.
