2004 Suzuki Verona - Page 6 Questions & Answers
I have 2004 suzuki verona
The problem is the transmission control module. This is a very common problem on the Verona. Once you get the car in 3rd gear it should pick up speed and do a lot better. But it is usually just 1st and 2nd gear that is effected with this problem.
All lights in car flicker
name some lights?, that do and dont. flicker.
Inside car, or outside, or both,,, just a hint, here.......???????
there are like 50 lamps total. huge #, cluster , is max.
i see you are just repeating anothers wild guess. why do to that.?
why not get a voltmeter and see which side of the lamp
has bad voltage. (bad power)
here is how to prove it. it's not hard or magic,
1: hood up. (bonnet in UK)
2: $10 walfart meter in hand (or better)
3: set meter to 20v. range. and leads to volts jacks on meter.
4: connect black test lead to the battery minus lug. (yes, there only)
5: now at the bad light under test, BLUT? you .
6: turn on said light.
7: and with the red test lead touch both lamp pins.
8: the ground pin must be 0.5v or lower.
9: not running engine the hot wire to lamp will be near 12v.
the pin the jumps(voltage) is bad.
note how my steps find both side failures.
once knowing which side is bad (truth) we work that side.
post back your results.
all techs have a jumper wire to extend their meter leads
or cant work on cars.

You problaly need a new front hub assy. They have the abs sensor built in. You need to see what code you have for the ABS and it will tell what you hub is bad. Don Suzuki tech
Suzuki verona idles up and down at stop light.
you skipped the #1 fact, hot or cold or both?EFI runs in MODES. cold is one , hot is another.if coolant fails to reach proper temp, the thermostat is bad.or installed wrong.!I'll toss dice and land on HOT.idle controls, are out of control. for sure. if really HOT.This car has EFI,EFI has many jobs but one is idle controlthe ECU does that. (PCM)if idle surges, it is , then its out of controlhere is a list of things( my full list exceeds 26)1: thermostat (coolant) is bad and wont hold 180 to 200F temps.2: ISC (idle speed controller, dirty and sticks)3: IAC (some cars have this and it can stick open04: throttle cables set wrong.5: Air leaks so large to the plenum the ISC loses control.6: spark or cam timing why off , poor service .pause.there are others, but the above covers the top ones.there are a number of simple tests to do , that solve this riddle.a: motor good, check compresion.b; timing of cam good and spark?c: i then kill the iSC, if the idle dont drop to below 600rpm or stallI know for sure you have air leaks.the lists for finding air leaks in the induction system (intake and plenum) is huge. Using a smoke machine takes a very skilled mechanic.one safe way is to use a rubber tube to your ear and listen for hissing at said parts, idling.
Radio not working asking for code, when entering
if it is password protected, its impossible.there is no cheat on this, after all , it is to stop thieves.the stock car manual states that.if not stock car radio , then consult them. sony, etc. but most are impossible. (guessng will be very hard, not like on TV at all.)
07 grand vitara starts then putters and dies. No
No check engine light is coming on! it must key on, MUST, or the lamp is bad or you lost powerto the ECU. I have a 04 GV with a 6v , do you? and what country?thats right dead CEL is dead power and OBD2 tools will be deadcant talk to a no power dead ECU, not now or ever.If in USA it is in fact OBD2 car.so if all this is true. check the fuses first.as always.
