Code po703

double posted. see other post, see schematic. that's a transmission code. - Faulty Brake Switch - Mis-adjusted Brake Switch - Brake Switch harness is open or shorted - Brake Switch circuit poor electrical connection http://engine-codes.com/p0703_suzuki.html Can this car actually have brakes stuck on , sure but the above is only the brake lamp stuck on. that is, the switch. failed or maladjusted. (do any brake work? latetly) low engine power.? Can this light and low power be related?., heck I dont know i cant drive this car., but i can push it by hand (feel drag) and spin tire/wheels on jack stands and tell if there is drag in about 15min work. no drag then the switch is bad. and the engine power is un related. if the brake lamps are stuck on, the switch is bad. (or not adjusted right) a simple switch test is easy and fully covered in the FSM. you can google for simlpe tests or youtube them.. "how to test PRNDL switch) stall test 1: video. (this Clutch TC , causes this magic) Read more: http://engine-codes.com/p0703_suzuki.html#ixzz2lN9EPjVh The TC heats fast so do so quickly. when a car cant go over 20mph , it;s 1: lost engine power. 2: bad tranny (slips. or is seizing.,etc) does the tranny pass the stall test and not slip? http://auto.howstuffworks.com/under-the-hood/vehicle-maintenance/how-to-test-torque-converter.htm 5second max let cool for 5min, repeat if necessary. video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfjUNfQ3FrA LOW POWER> (driving engine power, to tires) this stall test , shows 2 things, 1: the engine has power. (normal) spec RPM. 2: the transmission does not slip. (RPM way to high , slips) for people with A/T (complex ) this is 1 test of many in the FSM the FSM has 100 pages on ON CAR testing. I do not know, your cars, stall speed spec. , i do not have the FSM. if doing work on your own, car, i highly recommend getting one. does the stall test fail in all gears? L and drive, or 2 ? etc? and revers? RTM.

Brake switch for transmission stays on all the time

no such Ani-mule , tell the symptoms reverse back up lamps out? how many brake lamps out, how many ? or stuck on? the transmission switch on all A/T is on the right side of the A/T box. its this very expensive (suz blues) switch. the reverse switch is part of this PRNDL switch. lucky for you both on one page. http://www.fixkick.com/look/odds-ends/temp/02verona-rev-back.JPG

I have code P1670

obscure. it is.... is not the Verona a Daewoo with a GM engine?the lame duck? The Evanda is also rebadged as the Suzuki Verona in North Americal and Chevrolet Epica in other markets.fixing these cars is no fun, not at all.there are 2 engines and ECU/PCM used to match (and DTC's)so is it the daewoo in line 6?or GM Holden 4 cylinder, E-TECH 2.0Lwhen working on cars, drive line issues) first find out what is under the hood.?Im sure you know Suzuki shut down in USA? right, and in Canada in 2014, no country stated, so i guess wildly....im at alldata . com for 6 banger, engine.no 1670.,it ends at 1668 (2.5L engine)BTW1, P1xxx codes are factory codes. and can be unique.P0xxx codes are USA basic codes. EPA/SAE/DOT codes.P16 means computer output error.my wild guess is your car has the 4 banger the GM holden engine.and i dont have DTCs lists for the E-TECHdid you pull that code, or did autozoned.?did you write i down correctly?is your engine the L34?as seen herehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Family_II_engine#L34

Replace spark plugs in a 2006 mercury mountaineer.

a mercury in a suzuki body, or the reverse.?ill guess, it's a real mercury, don't hear of them, much now...spark plugs replace the same on all cars.V8V6Inline 4 or 6OHV,. SOHC, or DOHC.Only DOCH engines are tricky (deep in wells or so called hemi;s)some fords are DOCH, even in 1996, so not sure what engine you have, and you need to know that before buying sparks.or wire sets, at 60k.My guess, is plain jane OHV motor they are in plain view. see them.?look first, and scratch head, can i get to them all, we look and gander and oops, x is in the way or if i use my fancey universal jointand 24" extension the left rear can be got.You need to look first, as not all cars have the same OPTIONS.A/C , ABS? things get in the way, do not mess with ABS , or pull A/C lines. (yes, takes training....)unscrew them , they come out with a SOCKET.replace and use mfg rated torque, do not over torque spark plugs20 ft../lbs max, set the gaps, and do not run magic plugs, get J plugs, best NGK, in platinum tip. Id not run surface fire, plugs, unless under COPS.goggle changing plugs, Utube same,
