New automatic transmission was installed but does
Heres some ideas start with the basics make sure you have trans fluid to the correct level. Next maybe the torque converter was not bolted on. Last maybe the trans is defective I know you say its new but even new parts come defective.
With ignition off its activaiting the ac and other relays...? why
you mixed up parts.!why post and not say this is a hackyou are trying to get a mt box to work in a/t.say it. so all can see that in 22 posts.and win.it ran before because the TCM told the PCMthe shifter is in park or neutral.now its NOT.look under car, see the cable dangling thereto the missing A/t box.that be it. (sending wrong data to the TCM)
Need firing order for 2004 forenza 2.0.also which terminal is #1 on the coil pack
Firing order is 1342 --- Order on the Coil Pack is 4,1,2,3 -- Line the plug wires up in that order starting at one end of the coil pack, if that doesn't work, start at the other end of the coil pack with the same 4,1,2,3 order. Cyl. #1 on the engine is closest to the crankshaft pulley (and all other pulleys) -- Disregard the firing order at this point, it will only add to the confusion. Stick to the 4,1,2,3 order for lining up the plug wires

Need location of fuel filter?
2.0L usa/
if you follow the line from fuel rail back and there is no filter found, on any car, that means its in the tank, zero books, zero wondering.

the reason is easy , the USA EPA mandated this.
end story , all cars EFI gas in usa.

why is that needed? to lower evap rates and smog. from that.

How do I fill the automatic transmission with fluid??
There is no dipstick to check the transmission fluid level on that vehicle. It has a drain plug at the bottom and a fill plug above it. The transmission fill plug is located on the backside of the transmission down by the driver side constant velocity shaft You must remove the fill plug with a special tool and fill it through that hole until it starts to slowly drip out. This will require you to put the vehicle on jack stands or a lift to perform this maintenance.Best to use a turkey baster to fill up.Get them at the dollar store.
Where are the auto. trans. filter and drain plug located?
Some cars do not have a drain plug or even a dip stick to check the oil level. There should be an oil pan on the bottom of the unit and clearly visible from under the car. You may have a car with a sealed transmission. You better check the service manual and find out. Or, call the dealer and ask the service desk.
Do i have to take out the tranmission to change filter?
Not usually. The filter is located on the bottom the transmission. You need to unbolt, drain, and remove the transmission pan to access it. There may be interference from cross member and such, but normally it is accessible without the removal of the unit.
My car does not have atransmision pan, where is the filter?
why ask this, did the service chart say to,, no...
why? ask, my guess , do to other cars, this is easy... sure...
but this is FWD cars. and many things are not easy...
and this takes the prize, removal of transmission is required.
the FSM book covers the service on this trans, read that yet.
or at alldata.com
it's a transaxle.
if you google this , you get this answer... its like all over the web.

Changed head gasket, and now there is a litle water coming out of the exaust ?
2.0L twin cam USA or the other 6 engines used world wide?is this your first car? all cars produce water and steam cold.(a normal product of gas combustion is H2O or water)but...if that water is green (antifreeze color) then you did the service wrong.1: head gaskets usually fail because they are a victim.!(have proof of that)did you check the head for warping and the engine deck too>?as the book for car (allcars) tells you ? to do and how.with steel rule and feller gauge?2: did you get the machine shop to pressure check the head.? (that's the pro shop place that rebuilds them)ice damage, freeze plugs(so called) and checked out fully.if not, most cars fail again. did you know there are other places for coolant to reach the head ports?the induction system. some cars have water heated ISC valves that can leak. (or ice damaged) (no engine stated, so I can't wax too savvy here)or the intake manifold water path leaking, (or ice damage there)you didn't post country or state, so if say in South Florida? there is no icing, but in Alaska, endless...why do that? not state where you live???? (not address, just state)are you running pure water ?or antifreeze at 50% in that car......??????i see lots of folks attempt that in Florida.here is a good book to review on topic.http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/automotive-technology-jack-erjavec/1100969794?ean=9781428311497read the pages on head work.lots of pitfalls, there.
