Can I just replace just one cv joint

Yes you can,I'm not sure if your refering to the whole axle or one cv joint on the axle.Replacing a cv joint is best left to a qualified mechanic, most cv joints require special tools and procedures to replace correctly.

Stumbling idle, stalls when throttle opens

If the car is running that bad the check engine light should be on and code/s stored in the pcm along with a snapshot of what is going on at the time the code is set. A possible solution is to check the Mass Airflow Sensor or the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor depending on which your vehicle is equipped with. The engine may run until the engine computer switches to closed loop fuel control (means its warmed up and the pcm is in control of the fuel trim) and then stall upon accel. Be sure you have checked all the basics first.

New cv axle

you dont have to take off the hub. just take off the strut where is connects to the steering knuckle and twist it out of the way and take the axle out that was. you may also have to take the tire rod off the knuckle also. and if you wanted to make it really easy then you could that the whole knuckle off the ball joint and just pull the cv axle straight out.

Won't start without jumping

Start the car with engine running remove the + battery cable. If engine continues to run alternator is good and battery is probably bad. If engine dies then alternator needs replaced.

Inline fuel filter

The fuel filter assembly is inside the gas tank. Don't touch it. I have an expensive manual on the car and the procidure involves by the way lifting of the whole car and slowly (on a jack lowering the gas tank). I was quoted a price for the laber from a suzuki dealership 400-500. Must be done every 120k miles.
Why? Cause your tank fills with rust
Does it accumulate from staff coming from the gasstation? No, it is your own tank rusting, being eaten , and palstic seals on your fuel pump also, by ethanol from the cheap gas you have been using.
I excuse you since I myself didn't know about it, and I also have the same problem.
When you give the car to the mechanic , much better to a Suzuki dealership ask them!!! also to change the gas tank air filter.
What? Airfilter in the tank? Why change it?
The manual says so, and ... by the way that cheap gas with the ethanol may have something to do with it, aaa... like ethanol being part of the alchochols and evaping way too fast in a sommer day.
If you don't stop using gas with ethanol, then... you are eventually in for a bill over 1000 for including new fuel pump, that you also can not install yourself.

How do I remove the

I have a suzuki esteem 2000 and to remove the inside of the door panel you must first locate the window roll down lever and when you push back on the panel it opeans up a gap between the lever and the panel and if you look there is an axile that connects to the lever and in the lever there is a set of groovs and if you look at the groves there is a snap on ring, you must first push that ring off of the axile which will let you to freelly pull the lever off and then you can locate the screws that also hold the panel on my suzuki I have one on the handle which is covered by a plastic cap and there is also another palstic cap a little lower. After you have freed the screws the rest are just snap on clips you can just pull the panel off.

well hope it was helpfull.

Do i have fuel problem still

There is probably not enough flow or pressure of fuel to the engine for anything higher than idle.

Have you replaced the inline fuel filter? This sounds like the probable culprit. A clogged fuel filter will cause a pump to fail in a short amount of time.

If the problem's not the fuel filter i'd get the fuel pressure regulator (on the injector fuel rail) checked out.

Matt

Either you have a bad battery but more than likely you have a bad alternator, alternator belt, or alternator wiring. I'd put my money on replacing the alternator. If you have a voltmeter handy start the vehicle up and check the voltage between the negative and positive battery posts. Anything below 13 volts with the engine running strongly points to a bad alternator

Starter spins but wont

HUH??? The electrical circuit is working and you think there is a blown fuse?
NO! there is a MECHANICAL problem with your starter like a broken bendix or a chewed-up flywheel. You need to remove your starter motor and inspect the teeth on your flywheel. Look through the starter hole and turn the engine by hand so you can inspect the teeth all the way around. I usually mark the flywheel with a marking pen before I start turning it so I can tell when I have gone all the way around. If the teeth are all in decent condition, replace the starter. If you find any broken/damaged teeth, you need to pull your transmission and replace the flywheel. (AND probably replace the starter anyway.)
