Jump start audi a6 4.2
There should be a positive terminal under the hood under a red cap as i am assuming ur battery is not visible, use something steel on the motor for a ground, sometimes the batteries to newer vehicles are under the rear seat so if ur having trouble finding out how to even hook up the cables i would look under the hood for the terminal first, will probly be in a random place then if u cant find that or the battery check under the back seats

I have a 2005 Audi
On these vehicles, the timing belt is recommended at 90K!! I recommend replacing the T-belt and water pump at the same time. The water pump is timing belt driven, and if it fails, you would be paying for another Timing belt service!! YOU WILL NOT experience drive-ability issues because the belt is aged or has not been serviced at its recommended intervals. Instead, if the belt fails, your engine will fail, and will require replacement or rebuilt ($3500+ job). Find a less expensive reliable shop thats experienced in EURO vehicles, and stay away from the dealer!!

Can i jump start an audi a6 2005
On the 2005 Audi A6 3.2 (6 cylinder) the battery is stored in the right rear trunk, under the trunk floor lid. Note: To jump start the car, you simply raise the engine hood, and look in the upper left corner of the engine compartment, just slightly below the plastic cover. There you will see connections that lead to the battery and are specifically designed for jumping (or charging) the battery. You will need to lift up gently on a reddish brown cover which is protecting the positive terminal. The negative terminal (black) is not covered.Under no circumstances should you attempt to jump the battery directly. The battery could explode and you could get sulfuric acid on your face and in your eyes, which would be bad. Very bad.

- Hello and thank you for the opportunity to help. When you say brake warning light do you mean ABS light or actually brake light or both? This is what I need to know as they are different. Please respond to my question so I can further assist you as they are two different lights.
- I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,Tony

Audi A6 2007 rear left light, brake light and turn signals
unplug the light. you will find a bit of rust on the + contact. that's the cause. I think it sparks sometimes and the computer shuts down the whole lamp. use a nail file or smooth sandpaper to clean the contact and there you have it... good luck. ;)

What kind of oil should i use for 2004 Audi A6 ?
It depends. If you have a turbo engine like the 2.7T, or the 4.2 V8, you should be running a quality synthetic oil like Mobil1. If you have a V6, you're OK running conventional oil (I use Valvoline conventional, 5W30, in my 99 A4 with a 30v 2.8 V6).

Audi A6 dash break indicator
It should be okay. If you can, take a look through your rims at your brakes, and try to see how much pad is still present in contact with the rotor. The indicator light is only a warning to get you to change the brakes.

How do I take out
Look inside the trunk on the side where the relative light cluster is that you require. There will be a cover there. Remove that and the light cluster will be accessible to replace the bulb. If the light cluster does not come away with the cover, carefully lift the plastic tab holding the cluster in place - they get brittle and can break very easily. Check the operation of the lights before replacing the cover.
